JudoMom
This is a great laminator, and Amazon has it for $17.99 as the Gold Box Deal of the Day. I buy my pouches at Sam's Club for around $20 for 200 pouches.
jplain
Great deal! I agree, this is a nice laminator to have around.
sparrow
I'll also vouch for this laminator. It's a good one. I've been using mine like a mad woman on 4-H projects for our county fair.

sparrow
What types of things do you laminate??Trying to decide if I need this. :D You need it :D. I laminate Latin vocab, multiplication tables, Periodic Tables, schedules, chore charts, and the kids make their own bookmarks. Really, once you have one, you'll FIND things to laminate! Really, once you have one, you'll FIND things to laminate! :iagree: You can use dry erase markers on things you laminate, too. I also use sharpies on a laminated weekly schedule I have to map out my week and use rubbing alcohol to remove the sharpie.
stripe
How annoying. I bought one and have YET to get my rebate. I asked on here and those who replied also said they hadn't received. It's been several weeks past when it was supposed to come and of course I can't find my copy of the info I sent in.

Teachin'Mine
I haven't received the rebate either. I believe the deadline was end of July, so hopefully we'll see it soon. If not, they're gonna have a lota nonetoohappy homeschoolers to contend with. :D I've had good experiences with Amazon so far. :)
FairProspects
No rebate here either. Is there someone I can call and harass or something or are they really just ripping off the Amazon public?
melissel
I also use sharpies on a laminated weekly schedule I have to map out my week and use rubbing alcohol to remove the sharpie. Ooooooohhhh :hurray: A new application! I never thought of that, and I've found myself wanting something written semi-permanently on laminated things too. Thanks for sharing! As for the Amazon rebate, I'm so sad that you guys haven't gotten your rebate yet, especially since I was so vocal about what a great deal it was (I love my laminator)! Has anyone called Amazon customer service to ask about the status? I tend to think of Amazon as too reputable to pull something like that. I really hope they come through soon. LaissezFaire
I laminate everything too. We use it a lot for making our Famous People in History Flash Cards. I also laminate times tables and any other things my kids will need to refer to often.
