Laurie In Carmel
Like everyone, I'm looking to save money on textbooks and curriculum. Do you have a favorite website to purchase used material. Also, any tips for finding and buying previously owned materials? Thanks, Laurie

littlebug42
http://www.betterworldbooks.com. They also have free shipping on all orders.
Blue Hen
Also, any tips for finding and buying previously owned materials? addall.com is what I use to search for used books. It searches bookstores for the lowest priced book and returns the finding to you. Then I know whether to head to amazon.com, half.com, or some other bookstore that has the book used. It doesn't have every bookstore in its search engine but it does a pretty good job for me. abebooks.com is the other place I check. carole
kalanamak
thriftbooks has always "underrated" its material (so a "good" is "very good"), and has let me just keep the 2 books I found over rated.

BikeBookBread
abebooks :iagree: I've also used half.com and Amazon marketplace with mixed results -- I will only buy from 100% sellers with TONS of ratings.
Caitilin
I have had EXCELLENT experiences buying from Alibris. Also, check them for coupon codes for reduced or (occasionally) free shipping.
Catherine
Half.com, definitely. Best prices and in some cases, best selection.
