Sunshine State Sue
Just wondering if mine is the only one. Yes, I need to get a life. I am watching Teaching the Classics practically as I type, if that matters. :D
Retired
12 yo boy has just plain nasty nails, I give him a manicure and pedicure each month because it bothers me not him, he also chews on those nails:ack2: but my other son who is now 16 has always been meticulous with his grooming even when younger
lissijane
My oldest is a neatnik and always kept tidy but my nine year old I have no idea what he does to his toenails. Come to think of it I don't want to know.
MamaT
My two oldest who are grown men now will grow their toenails until others complain. My youngest two sons (maybe because of their big brothers?) are very diligent to keep their toenail cut and clean.
Luanne
I don't have a son, but I do have a daughter and hers leave a lot to be desired. :glare:
Catherine
As they get older, I think it will improve. One is still not quite totally up to speed with the hygiene thing.
Tap
Ds is a swimmer so he has tidy feet. Clean and manicured by himself since he was old enough to do it. I think having other people with their face at your feet during practice makes a difference LOL.
Michelle T
His toenails are just long, and remind me of talons. I can't figure out (and neither can he) what on earth he does that results in such filthy fingernails all the time. They are also too long. Sigh. Guest Virginia Dawn
If I notice my boys nails getting long or ragged I make them cut them. Dd told me she made her husband cut his toenails when they first got married, and he was 24. :-P
Alphabetika
My 11 yo dd does. Sigh......:001_huh:
Melissa in Australia
I voted other. I don't think I have seen any of my teens' toenails for a few years.
kpupg
I chose other because ds14 is in a transition stage. He used to never trim his nails ... any nails ... ever :tongue_smilie: I embarked on a nagging crusade. Several months later, he is often noticing and trimming his nails himself. Maybe not as promptly as I would prefer, but he's getting there! And nowadays, when I ask him to trim, he no longer grumbles about it ... he just goes and does it. Light at the end of the tunnel ... hooray!
Big Buckin' Longhorn
My 16 year old son's feet are disgusting. I try to avoid looking at them if I can.
LanaTron
I got jabbed in the foot hard yesterday by my son's! It hurt to the point that I was pretty mad.
LanaTron
And I guess I should say that his honestly aren't ragged and filthy, but waaayyy too long. They're not toenails any more...claws is more like it.
