10 Good
  1. If you do have a fracture like I did my doc said sometimes they will feel better wrapped somedays not so go with whatever felt best. He also told me and was right that even though I felt normal after a week or so coughing, laughing or sneezing could reaggravate the issue. Hiccups can do it too. Ibuprofen really helped mine. Good luck and take it easy.
  2. Glad you found some! I was going to recommend the skull candy too. They are first ones that didn't kill me.
  3. It depends on my mood but sometimes I will add curry powder to it while it is cooking just to give us a break from the left over feel. I also add coconut milk at the end. I will serve it over steamed rice. It makes a nice change for us.
  4. How about a small basket of nonperishable goodies from where you are from or something from an artist in your area?
  5. Growing up in girlville I was completely unprepared for boys. I think the biggest thing was the mood swings that come around age 11. I thought girls were the moody one. YIKES! Actually asked our dr if I needed to take the oldest to a therapist. I finally figured out he was sayng no through his laughs. Also boys have to touch poke or somehow breathe on everything. Especially each other. Then there are what we call boy noises that they can create on demand. And whoever said they are smell was oh so right.
  6. Needed to track stuff in excel. No big deal I do this every Christmas. Open excel on the new computer only to find a new version that looks like greek to me. Really????? Aaaagh. They are trying to kill me.
  7. I adore my pink nano. It is my sanity break! I use it when doing housework or knitting and sometimes to fall asleep. It is wonderful and I am glad I gave in to the urge last year. Melissa
  8. I am of no help to you but am so glad you asked. I will be doing the same soon without the benefit of college. I do know that there are skills based resumes to be seen. I am sure you will be great.
  9. I have some familythat don't like leftovers that come in the same state as they were originally. So I make soup, pot pies and enchiladas all weekend. But if someone came and stayed at my house and were that rude I would probably draw a map to McDonalds for them. Oh wait I have when after working for hours my bil sits down looks at the main course of chicken and pasta with pesto and says he doesn't eat anything green in front of my kids. I guess I have trouble with that. Oops!
  10. My kids love their ds games. They have had them since they wre first introduced. We do still limit the use of them but even so they have been worn ragged. They have asked for the new updated versions for Christmas and if I can find good deals we will do it. They are also awsome on trips. We also have a wii but they seem to like the handhelds better really. The kids could explain the techy stuff but it makes my eyes roll. Sorry not much help other than to say for us they are great.
  11. Let's see, I am -checking the boards -responding to posts -facebooking -imming with friend -making sweet potato casserole -washing laundry -checking out the newspaper ads for black Fri -eating a 7 layer bar Now I see why I am wearing out.
  12. I tend not to wait with my kids that have trouble with upper respiratory issues. It is just too risky. I would get her checked before the weekend. I have kids who don't feel bad even when really sick. Hope she feels better soon.
  13. My kids love Settlers. Although it isn't a board game they also love Killer Bunnies. It is funny how wound up we get playing it.
