Barb_
Bad news/good news: It's totaled, but she walked away from it. No one else was involved. Keeping things in perspective, but I cannot tell you how SICK I am of bad news this year. Seeing my van upside down in the median strip was the scariest thing I ever want to see. Sasharowan
:grouphug: None of mine drive yet, but I get nightmares just thinking about it.
HRAAB
I'm so glad you dd is okay. That's most important. Bad news does get old after awhile. Janet
Joanne
{{{Barb}}} and, I assume, {{{Meghan}}} I understand about reaching critical mass on bad news.
eternalknot
:( I'm sorry to hear that the rain keeps falling for you. How terrifying to see that. On a positive note, the rainbow after the rain might just be that your daughter walked away unharmed. Here's hoping to a (continued) change of experiences for your family. Tree House Academy
I am so sorry. So glad your dd is okay. I remember being young and on the roads - I get sick just thinking of my kids being in car accidents. I have vowed that they will NEVER ride together. EVER. Barb :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: I didn't sleep for two nights after my son got his license. I am good friends with someone who had just lost their step nephew in an accident. SO GLAD your daughter is ok!
Barb_
Yes, she is such a good driver. At 19 she has never had a ticket. But it's midterms week and she is sleep deprived and dozed off at the wheel. She just learned she is not invincible. Thank you so much for your well wishes, everyone. Remudamom
My two dds got their driver's license and farm permits on Friday. Gah.
Tam101
I'm glad your dd is ok! I know what you mean about bad news. My dd is out of state at college, at one point I told dh I wasn't going to answer my cell when she called because it was ALWAYS bad news when she called that line! Jane in NC
Oh, Barb... While I am glad to hear that your daughter is fine, I know that my heart would still be racing from the entire incident. Virtual hugs and bushels of fortitude being sent your way. Jane
