Pamela H in Texas
Oh Lizzie, how your oldest is better soon... Well, mine is okay. CT was clear. Gotta wake him twice tonight, be careful with his head, take him to doc on Friday. And of course, if he has any symptoms, take him back to ER. Thanks for y'all support.... Joy at Home
that's scary, Pam. Kids heads are unbelievably durable, though, huh? ;). Glad he's okay and I hope for a peaceful night. Blessings, Lisa
Jennifer in MI
Okay - now that everything is okay, I have to add - please buy a helmet!!!! Any time your kids have wheels under them, they need to wear one!!! My ds had a similar accident where he flew over his handlebars and landed on his head and arm. We took him to the ER for a broken arm. The ER doc asked if he'd been wearing a helmet. He said that he had. The ER doc told us that it was a good thing, (we had the helmet with us), because if he hadn't, he'd have been in the ER with a life threatening injury. Totally worth the cost, and the embarassment of wearing a helmet, IMHO!!

Pamela H in Texas
Jennifer, I don't know what we were thinking. He wears full gear for skating and a helmet for biking. Why nothing for scootering? I feel dumb and guilty <sigh>
