  1. Oh I have this too except for the wooden bridges. That one doesn't scare me maybe because we don't have them here. :D My legs start to tremble and shake if I get too high. I remember once when I was a kid, my mom had taken my brother and me to the mall and they had walked up the stairs already and were at the top and my mom was yelling at me to come up the stairs. I was pretty tiny at the time, maybe kindergarten aged can't remember exactly, but I remember so vividly taking like 5 steps and then my legs just started trembling horribly. My mom was yelling at me to hurry up and get up there, but I just couldn't do it. I had to get down and start crawling up to which she came back down the stairs and picked me up and carried me up. I just can't do tall heights. I also hate anything over my head. Like those tube things they have on playgrounds. I can't go in those things. When I used to SCUBA dive, I could never do caves or even coral tunnels. Just no.... nothing over my head. :tongue_smilie:
  2. Yes. This one too! :ack2: I start getting white knuckles in the waiting room when I hear the whirring of that drill thingy. :svengo:
  3. I hate it when people's teeth scrape their forks when they're eating. :ack2: I can feel the ickyness of the metal on my teeth just from hearing it. I also hate aluminum foil. :ack2: I guess I have issues with metal. :p hehe I absolutely abhor cockroaches and palmetto bugs too. I can handle any other kind of bug or critter living except those. shudder
  4. same here. I have all my food on hand already and tons of batteries and lamps. I usually just buy water when the storm is on the way. We keep root vegetables and apples on hand too once "the season" starts. I can't believe it's not even June yet and it's already starting. sheesh! I hope we don't have a repeat of the 2005 season.
  5. I get horrible headaches when my blood sugar drops. If the headache comes back and she can eat some eggs or something protein (no starch or sugar) that will raise her blood sugar gently and it goes away, I would suspect she might be hypoglycemic. I got horrible migraines that started when I hit puberty and I've had them ever since. But I've been able to drastically improve them through diet. I hope she feels better poor thing. :grouphug: :grouphug:
  6. Oh Nance!! My heart is breaking for you. I am so so so sorry for your loss sweetheart! :crying: :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:
  7. :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: Oh sweetie! I"m so sorry you didn't get the news you were expecting to hear, but the good news is that everything is where it is supposed to be and your baby has a heartbeat. That's nothing to sneeze at. I got that pinkish tinge after paps as well and my kids are both here with me. I'm so sorry for the other agonizing wait. What a roller coaster this must be for you, but we're all here for you and waiting with you. I hope the next one gives you more reassurance honey. :grouphug::grouphug::grouphug: Stay strong and positive. :)
  8. :) I'm glad to hear it! I was thinking about you all day today Jean. :grouphug::grouphug:
  9. Yay! Happy Birthday Peela! :hurray: :cheers2:
  10. :grouphug::grouphug: I know how you feel. I feel like I'm in the same boat right about now. Yep, I could have written your post almost word for word. Does that count as commiseration? :D Hang in there honey. Tomorrow is the last day before the weekend. :)
  11. I am so so sorry. It's definitely okay to leave them with that food. :grouphug: :grouphug:
  12. Thank you! That helped. I read the page from Pinterest on how to get started and I had added the "pin it" button, but I couldn't figure out how to pin the picture to the site contest page of this company. Thanks for your help. It worked now. :)
  13. I'm having trouble understanding/navigating this site. I want to enter a contest, but don't know how to repin. Ugh, can someone explain this thing to me? I'm too technologically challenged. :blushing: Thanks to all who reply. :)
  14. Congratulations!! It looks fantastic! Tiling IS a lot of work. DH and I tiled our downstairs living/dining room and it took 2 weeks with both of us working full time on it every day. I feel your pain. :)
  15. hehehehehe No worries. I knew what you meant. I'm prone to typos myself. :p Oh that's so exciting!! And may I just say Nance that you are being a trooper through all of this. You're handling it so well. Just 2 more days! Woo hoo! :) :hurray:
  16. :grouphug: back at ya! :) This is true. I'm like this about Bradley Cooper. I mean, I can see that he is attractive, but I just don't get the fuss over him. To me he's just meh. :)
  17. Frog and Toad Amelia Bedelia Diary of a Wimpy kid is LOL funny, but most likely too old for your age group.
