  1. I'm not a member, can I buy the same one online? Would you reference if for me please?
  2. Can anyone suggest one that they love? I need at least 5x magnification - actually I don't need a side that is non-magnified, this is just for up close work for old lady eyes! I also need it well lit and a fairly decent size. Free standing and electric - non battery. Thanks. There are just so many on Amazon and my current one from there only lasted 1.5 years. Thanks.
  3. Sojos makes a great freeze dried raw. You just put some in a bag, let it sit overnight to hydrate and keep in fridge. My poodle with seizures loves it. I substitute 1/2 of her kibble with the raw and it's helping her seizures. Add slowly though or you'll make him sick. Hope he does better poor guy.
  4. What brands of oils are you using? I work with someone who is amYoung Living distributor. They just seem so expensive. I've been looking at Plant Guru. I'd love any and all recommendations for truly good oils. Thanks
  5. Watched America's Sweethearts. Was a cute movie. Thanks for the suggestions!
  6. I'm looking for publishing before fda got involved. A book recommended was a 2010 publishing.
  7. Hi. I've homeschooled my boys exclusively until 8th grade, where they would take one or two classes at a coop and their junior and senior years take community college for dual credit. My eldest son has always been a good student. He scored a 28 on his act - good but not amazing. Good enough to be accepted and win the military dependent scholarship at a big 10 school. He always felt that his dad won that, though. Well, he joined ROTC before school started his sophomore year. He needed to catch those who started their freshman year. Airforce ROTC was a fit. He won a second full ride scholarship, plus a $400 per month stipend, $$ towards books and all school fees paid. This summer he attended boot camp, where he won the top candidate award and a peer award as well. They asked him to come back and instruct next summer. So, this was my skinny, scrawny, non Athletic, socially awkward kid. Not any more!! He's a big strapping beautiful young man with the world at his feet. That was my word of encouragement for the day. (Incidentally, youngest is just starting his junior year in high school and will be at the community college this year and doing amazingly well. Works about 4 jobs and one is full time! It works, ladies. Don't give up!!)
  8. Not pregnant. Just the weight is holding me back health wise and I can't seem to get serious about losing. Am good for two days and bad the third. The sticky blood is freaking me out due to strokes and heart attacks.
  9. Any reason I shouldn't be freaking about having this condition? I'm really worried. I need to lose weight and do something to help. What should I do?
  10. Thanks so much! I think I'll try Breaking Bad, Psyche, or Arrested Development. I have watched a bunch of the others suggested. Thank you.
  11. Loved Jane the Virgin, Gilmore Girls, Parks and Recreation, and The Office. Didn't like after 1 episode House of Cards. Also enjoyed Kimmie Schmidt. Thanks
  12. Ok - disregard what I said, my son only wears monthlies in the waking hours.
  13. My son has had astigmatism. To the point of needing contacts made specifically for his eyes. He has monthlies and they work great. You need a very good eye dr to prescribe.
  14. I'll be unpopular. I couldn't stand it one second more - don't know how you've stood it so long. If you're confident of a lack of medical issue - I'd get rid of him. I would not put him outside at coyote bait, but I would be considering my other options. I would be thinking about the health and safety of my home.
  15. Has anyone ordered and used one of these? I'm dying to know if it breaks up cellulite like it says it does. Doesn't seem to matter what I do, my fat patches and cellulite keep getting worse! But it's expensive and a bit of a "poor spending of money" if it's just a fad.
  16. I have the Wusthof Classic 12'pc set. I just looked on Amazon and it's over $500!! I'm sure I didn't pay that much. Maybe wait until July 12 when Amazon has their big prime sale and they'll be cheaper?
  17. I've loved my Wusthof, but I do not put them in the dishwasher. You want some that you Can sharpen to keep them in peak performance. I'd love to have Cutco, but way too $$$ for me.
  18. Activated charcoal. Read up on it. I'm on it right now as I'm laying in bed :(
  19. My youngest is a junior this year. I've taken a very part time job that is not about the money, it's really greeting and helping patients in a chiropractors office. But the job is very fast paced and very social. It meets all of my needs (except $$). It has changed my personality back to sunny and fun.
  20. Make sure you get out enough. Take care of yourself - mentally and physically. I am finishing up after 20 years of being a sahm. I just got a small job (15 hours). It's amazing how much of my old personality is coming back mik so much more smiley. Not saying someone had to work but get out. Stay social and engaged. It makes a world of difference in your relationships with your family.
  21. I have a degree. After college I followed my husband around (USMC), which allowed for me to have a very unimpressive resume'. My longest employment was selling real estate, which I did for two years before we moved again and I was pregnant. I took 20 years off - wasn't stellar on paper before that, and lacked serious confidence (despite having homeschooled my two boys very successfully to the point my eldest received not one, but two full ride scholarships to the same big 10 college (one academic, one hand picked for leadership through ROTC and youngest is doing amazingly well too at 16). I turn 50 in September, and I just took a 15 hour per week job at a chiropractor. I replaced a high school girl and make less per hour than my two kids. But, I love it. It has changed my life. I now talk to people all work day and hustle my butt off. It is a very unimpressive job, but it has turned my confidence around. I don't know if I'll stay at this job for years or if it'll give me confidence to move higher. But, I am happy again (felt kinda depressed for the last couple years) and I'm smiley and back to my old self. (Except for the damn 40 pounds I should lose!)
