  1. On Thursday, my 5yo DS woke up with a fever. Over the course of the day it never went above 101.2. The only thing he complained of is a headache. He was tired and mopey and whiny. He woke up the next day fever free and normal. Then on Sunday 3yo DD woke up with a fever. Hers ended up climbing to 103.4. Same as DS, mopey and whiny and complained of headache. She woke up this morning fine. Neither had a runny nose, congestion, cough, sore throat, vomiting, or diarrhea. Just the fever and headache. For one day. So far my 7yo hasn't gotten it. The weirdest part, though, is that my step-sister was just diagnosed with the flu today (don't know which strain). We saw her on Wednesday for a family dinner and every one was fine. On Friday, I picked her up from school because she felt bad. And we had dinner again on Saturday, although she mostly just stayd in her room. Could my kids have had the flu for one day? Coincidence?
  2. I saw him. He didn't say anything but he was in the background of at least one shot. I think when they are all in the house and the leader lady comes by to check on them.
  3. Carol was brilliant. It took me a minute to figure out what she was doing! When she said she still misses her husband, I was like "WHAT!" But, really, such a good move. I really liked this episode, also. The Alexandria people are clueless. Those boys that went out on the run, oh my word. Idiots. Only four more episode left this season :(
  4. A can of 7-up and Doritos with my grilled cheese. There are brownies in the kitchen that are calling my name also.
  5. My DS had already lost a couple teeth by the time they came in. But he is ahead in the tooth department. He cut teeth early and MANY at a time. And they have fallen out that was also. He is 7.5 and has lost 8 teeth and has all his 6 year molars fully in.
  6. My oldest got his about a year ago. He never complained. I just noticed them when I helped him with brushing his teeth. And he was miserable when he cut teeth as a baby. I was expecting him to fuss about it. Incidentally, he has complained a bit when some of his other adult teeth have come through, where baby teeth have fallen out. I found that odd, I would have thought those big molars would've hurt.
  7. Ours was about 8 or 9 days. Probably the fastest we've ever gotten it. I'm in TX, so just federal.
  8. I am in Northeast TX and watching giant snowflakes fall. I left Alaska because I didn't want to see that! LOL! I was promised mild winters. I'm not impressed. But my kids are loving it. So, I guess it's not all bad. I went to my little, small town grocery store last night, and there were, at least, six times more people there than I had ever seen before. It was madness. Winter storms in the south are a whole different thing!
  9. What a cutie! I'm looking at my three year old, thinking I am so glad she is growing out of this stage. And, at the same time, having a major case of baby fever. Sigh.
  10. Not for me! First was 39 weeks. Second was 35 weeks. Third was 37 weeks. But they were all "ready." Even the 35 weeker was fine, they kept I'm in NICU for 5 days but he was fine.
  11. Rick made Me mad. I get it. They've had a lot of really horrible stuff happen, but ugh. He was over the top, in my opinion. I'm glad Michonne stood up to him. It was reassuring to hear children playing when they finally got there.
  12. Ouch! Maybe a wrist brace? I can't think of anything else.
  13. I have a couple chronic health problems (Crohn's disease, migraines, back problems), and I am afraid all they are going to remember is doctor visits, waiting in line at CVS, and me laying around sick. :(
  14. How long do you think bacon grease would keep, in the refrigerator? I put some in there a few months ago with plans to make something with it. I haven't gotten around to making the recipe and didn't know if it would go bad?
  15. I need to get onions in the ground if I am going to. I about killed myself in my garden last year, and I'm not real sure I'm up for it again.
  16. DH and I had a harder time with the fact that the walkers were coming toward the barn in the first place. It was the middle of a huge, loud storm. It wasn't like they were being super noisy. Why were the walkers going straight for the barn?
  17. I get you, too. I have quite a few health issues and am in one doctor office or another a few times a month, at minimum. My DH works out of town a LOT so about half the time I have all three kids with me. On the occasions that I don't have to bring the kids it feels like a vacation! I had to wait over an hour for the doctor one day and she apologized profusely. I told her not to worry at all, my kids aren't here! I'll wait and read my book here in this quiet room all day long!
  18. Yes! He is a main character in the comic. It would "appear" that there are picking up the comics story-line. At least to some degree. I won't say more because it will either turn out to be wrong or a spoiler.
  19. Crohn's is only one of many inflammatory diseases. Maybe one of the others?
