    It might be your appendix. Sometimes they feel better with pressure. I would keep tabs on it.

    Our church just raised theirs from 17 to 20 dollars. We pay separately for books and stuff. A neighboring church charges $25.

    I have three this year to school. 15,12,9. Plus a toddler 2 on Aug. 31. I was on a blog last night and they mentioned putting together a "toddler box" just for bringing out at school time. She filled it with anything she thought the toddler would find interesting and had him play on the floor close by her. I will be giving this a try this year but am thinking to make a couple different boxes to rotate.

    I hear a lot of good wisdom in what others are suggesting. Don't make any rash changes. Take a step back, look at what you have, and do the basics for a while. That will give you and the kids some stability and structure and when you are more settled you can jump into things more fully. :grouphug:

    That's so great! Our kids have been involved in a homeschool band/choir for a few years now. Be prepared, word of mouth will make it grow next year. I wish you the best.

    I will take a few degrees of your heat! Yesterday was the first time it made it to 80 this summer. Today it's 61 and pouring rain.:glare: I was supposed to bbq chicken for my husband's birthday dinner. Not going to happen. Send some summer!

    You could take a drive thru the mountains on the North Cascades Highway/ 20 you could also do the "loop". You could wave as you go by!

    Whatever you do don't wait too long. A Lot of things go on back order the longer you wait and the processing time gets longer too. Could you have it sent to a neighbor or another hs mom?

    In our family the rule was always never before 9 a.m. or after 9 p.m. But I have had sales people call before 9.

    My curriculum is scheduled to be delivered on Thursday! Then I need to wade thru the garage and get the rest out of storage. Last year we moved into our house four days before starting school. I am feeling way more prepared than last year.

    A friend of mine(who is British) told me it was this weekend and I thought it odd that there was nothing about it on the news. Is there a way to watch it online?

    is the royal wedding? I would love to watch it with my girls. But we don't have tv. Can you watch it online somewhere?

    They will give them to you free. They are the perfect size. Not too big to over load and not too small.

    It's just too easy for people in my family to leave the recycling on the counter next to the sink than to put in in the container under the sink!!!!

    But after much thought decided against it. I have learned a lot from the boards and though I don't join in the conversations much and don't agree with some of the things that have been stated, I still see these boards as invaluable.
