Well I think some people take something being done to protect from horribly extreme cases to "great, now the government can do whatever they want with my kids."

:lol:This is so true I have a unique sort of diet for myself. This won't sound right, but I eat mostly veg plus a bit of meat and eggs I do very little dairy if any. A bit of yogurt or parm grated on something. I eat legumes but mostly lentils. I never eat tofu. Ick. I feel best when most of my food comes from plants. I could eat meat once a week and be fine, but I don't really feel best. I eat a small bit with lunch or dinner most days.

I get really sick of all the laws made to protect every other mammal on the planet from living a horrible, abusive, and degrading life. What about kids? And statements like "Oh now they will be able to do whatever they want with your kids...." just makes the opposition look ridiculous. I just think SOMEONE and SOMETHING needs to be done. Do you actually know how next to impossible it is right now to get intervention in a horrible home situation? I know of one. The parents should have lost ages ago but no, their kid, their rights. Barf.

I got the Master system. The thing you drill into is so much sturdier and easier than the jr one. I have not used the jr, but after using this one I don't think it would be as easy. ETA: I think mine may be the deluxe thing you are talking about. I think it just has extra screws and a clamp. I think it was $150, whereas the other is $100 (roughly). When I looked at all the plugs and screws it ended up being a pretty good deal wtih all the extras

I am not sure what this qualifies as, but I was trying to teach DS a new topic in decimals and it turns out he had to explain to me how I was wrong. That is always reassuring :lol:

Eek no just one pair of Frye but none of them were cheap. I have to try one one hundred pair of boots to find one that fits. I bought my Frye boots 4 or 5 years ago and they are better than new.

I feel the same way. And as bad as it sounds I just cannot seem to make learning our native language a priority :tongue_smilie: This gets them speaking more and then I can speak what I know they have learned and more. They definitely get more out of it having some formal grammar along with it.

I love that name. I always think of p*rn stars to have names like Kiki or fifi or Luscious something or the other. P8rn is pretty lame and cheesy.

Though sometimes I have baby fever really bad. But I shrug it off as some biological factor in just getting older. Everything can be rationalized away :lol:

Oh I hear you on that one. I somehow knew with dd this was it. And then when I came home to a still nursing toddler AND a newborn I REALLY knew.

That's kind of how I feel. And I am a big fat nasty pregnant person. I hated being pregnant. I was a big fat ball of heartburn and misery. I adore my kids. They are my entire world. It just seems the perfect family we have, and I guess that is it. I never really had any strong urge for more

I used to do that :lol: Just wet something and throw it in with the other stuff. I have a utility sink. It is in a box in the hallway. DH bought it for me 3 months ago :001_rolleyes:. It might have been even more than that.

It's the Electrolux perfect steam model EIMGD60JIW http://www.abt.com/product/59131/Electrolux-EIMED60JIW.html This is the gas one, but there is an electric one too. Probably a slightly different model number. I am impressed with the steam and auto sensor functions.
