  1. I'm only doing CC at home....but I'm not trying to line it up either. I'll be doing SOTW and MOH for history, and then God's Design Life for science. :001_smile:
  2. :iagree: It may not be a spiritual battle...but blessing your home will help if it is.
  3. How awesome! I would love something for SOTW1! Thanks for sharing this though! I had no idea there was anything out there like this. :D
  4. Audio Memory has a site that sells all kinds of CD's to help kids memorize things. I have never tried there math CD's but my kids enjoy the ones for geography and states/capitals :001_smile:
  5. I apparently missed a good thread and need to go back and read it
  6. How is one to know if something is coming from a familiar spirit/demon or the Holy Spirit? I ask this as a sincere question. When I hear about about people knowing and seeing things....this question always runs through my mind.
  7. I cannot stand it if my husband is sitting around while I'm cleaning by myself. Luckily for me, he is really good about helping :tongue_smilie: BUT the way he does things drives me crazy and I always think I should have just done it without him. :D
  8. Well I'm definitely feeling better...thanks guys! :tongue_smilie:
  9. I've heard cats are stimulated to pee when they smell urine in the carpets. Even when we cannot smell it, they can, and it's almost uncontrollable. Maybe that is the problem with yours? (the first one started it, and the others can smell it) I've also heard though, that once they start this bad habit, it's hard to get them to quit
  10. There are actually videos of cats using the toilet! Youtube is great for things like that :tongue_smilie:
  11. I would probably want an Xray if she still isn't doing any better. Can the vet do just 1 (instead of 3) and keep the price down? Maybe you can call around and get a better quote, or find someone who will take payments??? Hope everything turns out okay!
  12. Haha...my husband likes to think he's a ninja too!
  13. Like this? I always said I was going to try this, but never have....hhmmm...maybe now's the time! But to answer the OP question, I have had many cats over the years and have had only a couple that had problems. I think as long as you get your male cats neutered young and keep their box clean, there shouldn't be a problem. (and as long as there's no medical problems either)
  14. The first 5 years of our relationship was definitely hard work. But we got pregnant only 6 months after dating...and add that with unemployment, losing everything we had (cars, house, business, etc) and the depression/insecurities that goes with that...oh and a drug/alcohol problem =:banghead: It took 5 months of being separated before my husband finally "saw the light" :tongue_smilie: He has made a complete 180 and I finally have the man I always knew he could be. (sounds cheesy I know ) I, of course, give God 100% credit for the changes he has made and helping us work out our problems. (and so does my husband) So for these last few years, I can finally say that our marriage is easy. Our personalities just completely click and we don't sweat the small stuff. I'm definitely more stubborn and hard headed, and he just goes with the flow (which I need!) Also, having hit rock bottom has given us an appreciation that I don't think we would of had otherwise. :D
  15. I honestly haven't looked into it myself, but have heard you can find music lessons for free on youtube. I know a kid who taught himself to play guitar that way. Maybe check it out :D
  16. I'm not sure if I'm understanding you exactly...but it sounds like you might be interested in something like MOH??? It's more biblical than SOTW. My plan is to use both SOTW and MOH with this schedule. Maybe that will help you too??? :001_smile:
  17. If you have a Bible with a concordance in the back, there will be a lot of scripture listed under fasting for you to look up. There's also books to read and lots of things if you google something like "why Christians fast" For me, fasting is a way of glorifying God, and building my relationship with him. It's putting aside earthly needs and giving yourself completely to him. It was done throughout the Bible and is (I think) expected from us. I also think it should be a personal thing between just you and God. HTH :001_smile:
