  1. As much as those puppies cost I would go back until it is right! I have 2 and you would never know they were not permanent teeth.
  2. That is what we did too. Camis to the justice sports bras.
  3. The lightly lined sports bra. No clasps or anything. Very comfortable and hold up well.
  4. My girls like the ones from justice.
  5. I have no experience with kids as part of our actuAl family, but am a seasoned foster/adoptive family. Here is you need to pm.
  6. The French quarter is a lot of fun. We really enjoyed the cemetery tours as well.
  7. I feel like I'm not using her to her full potential. What do you use the most?
  8. Love, love, love that we have someone come in once a month to help with deep cleaning. So much stress is alleviated while also trying to homeschool. Our lady has been with us over 3 years. She does her own thing but I rarely have complaints. If I have an issue I just talk to her about it. I buy cleaning products but she prefers certain ones that I keep on hand for her. She removes all trash and also puts all rags, towels, etc that she has used in the wash before she leaves.
  9. Just finished my menu plan for the next week. It's an easy week, holiday, company, baseball...grilled burgers, eggplant parmesan, smoked ribs and chicken legs, taco bar, round steak, baked parmesan chicken, pizza. This doesn't include sides, just main dish.
  10. Umm...thanks a lot ladies. I ordered a pair of leggings and a top from amazon fully expecting to send it back. I am a fluffier girl and struggle with clothing choices. I am wearing the outfit now and and just checked out with 2 more
  11. What if I dont want to venture into the High School Forum? That scares the beejeezus out of me!
  12. Thanks. I know that progression. I guess what I am asking more for is exact curriculum. All I see from Jacob's is Algebra. I do not want to drastically change the way he is used to learning from curriculum to curriculum. If that makes sense. And then, once he finishes Alg 2, I am assuming an advanced math with Trig/Calculus, but then what after that? I know what I took in college, but am unaware of what to use for highschool level. If it helps, he is in 5th grade right now and finishing pre-algebra. So we have 7 more years of math. Also have considered at that point taking duel enrollment classes but that is so far ahead that it is not on my radar! Sorry I wasnt very clear.
  13. What is your plan for math progression into highschool, or what did you do? DS is finishing MM7 right now and I feel like I need to have a plan for the next few years. I know that it can change at anytime, but I need to know what to look forward to. My thought right now is to go with Jacob's Algebra in August. But what after that? I feel like I should know this. I have a math degree. But I am unfamiliar with what specific curriculum to use. And he is ahead in math so we have several more years to plan. TIA
  14. Thanks. He is ready for Algebra. So, going into Jacob's with videos then.
  15. I think it is prealgebra. I am second guessing bc worried that he wouldn't be able to jump into algebra. Thought another year with more , But maybe he would be ready to move higher than that. Hence why I'm following this thread.
  16. We are finishing 7 now so following. I was leaning toward either jacobs with videos or Saxon 1/2.

    Never mind

We have been reading g books and having open discussion separated. However, I am curious if you have a video what it is? I would be interested in possibly showing it to them as well.
  18. You only have access to it for a year. You can use it for multiple children if you are not concerned about them keeping their grade saved as it will only save the first child who takes it. I have multiple children using it and have never had an issue with it. They each just write down their scores in their history notebook. We have really enjoyed it! Hope that helps. Now is a good time to buy with it being $100 off and you can defer the start date if needed.
  19. Yes. I adopted a sibling set of 2. They were 5 and 8 at the time. I'd be happy to chat via pm if you have specific questions.
  20. I did not see this thread at all and started something similar. We need a break in the budget and need to clean out our freezer and pantry so this has been good. Although, we are at the point almost where it is all random stuff now. Things might get interesting for a while! I had a ton of ground beef for some reason. Tonight I made a cheeseburger pie since I also had a ton of cheese as well.
  21. I LOVE my Nissan NV, however that probably doesn't work if you are wanting narrow. It is a beast, but the space is wonderful!
  22. I did a search and noticed that there hasn't been a good discussion on morning baskets in a while. I have fallen off the bandwagon big time and need some more inspiration. What is in your morning basket right now? How often and for how long do you work from it?
  23. I had every intention of keeping up with this here by posting and sharing ideas and the stomach bug hit our house. I'm back now! I pulled a package of ground beef out of the freezer this morning for dinner. Haven't decided what to do with it yet though. Ideas? It is funny how in reality we have plenty of food in the house, but I feel like I need to go shopping. I am fighting the urge though. My kids have not enjoyed this either because they are now out of all of their favorite snacks.
  24. No. I made the rice separate. Cooked the beef and sauce for 10 minutes high pressure then added the broccoli for 4 more. The broccoli was a little too done though so I'd probably cook it for half that time.
  25. Our grocery budget has been over the last couple of months and I need to get my freezer ready for a half side of beef coming in April. I have never done a real Pantry/Freezer challenge so thought I would give it a try. My idea is to only buy necessities for the next month. Milk, fresh fruit/veggies only. Anyone want to join me? I was thinking maybe posting meal ideas from what we have that day? My kids are having fun with it so far. They like to go grab something out of the freezer and wait to see what I come up with. (Normally I am a very avid meal planner so this is totally opposite of the norm here) Any tips? Do's and/or don'ts? Here is what I have for dinner today: DD pulled a package of sirloin tip steak from the freezer (left from the last side of beef). I had fresh broccoli and plenty of rice. Using my instant pot and now Beef and Broccoli over rice is on the menu for tonight.
