  1. I guess I should have said almost all the books I am unable to find. How do you do this? I cannot afford to buy every book to use one time. I have searched the libraries in my state, but no luck I have found maybe 3 books for a whole year. Then I go to look for other books on those topics and come up with nothing. So, how do you go about using programs like this if you cannot find the material to use with it? I really would hate to have wasted all that money, but I am at a lose here. Any help would be awesome.
  2. Yes it is possible to do it without. But it is easier to have them on hand. Now I did not buy what they had since I had items that were so close to their items I could not justify buying a whole new set. I also agree that McRuffy doesn't have much practice. That doesn't make it a bad program. This so coming from a mom who used it from the end of K to almost the end of first (finishing the first grade book) then I decided my little guy needed more practice so we moved to something else then to something else. Well we are waiting on our McRuffy to come back in the mail right now. So, if you feel it needs a bit more add in a something but don't change if it is working. I have learned that one the hard way, but we are getting back on track.
  3. I would also like to know if it splatters all over the oven. I loved fried bacon, but it has to be applewood smoked bacon. Yummy, the best ever. Well pepper bacon is a close second.
  4. We are having this year. 26lb turkey flavored w bourbon and bacon apple and pecan dressing(stuffing) sweet potatoes with pecans, a hint of maple syrup and topped w marshmallows parker house rolls honey wheat rolls mashed potatoes and gravy mac and cheese (my sisters recipe) spinach dip in a bread bowl deviled eggs cranberry some type of veggie have not figured what I want yet Caramel pecan pie pumpkin pie apple pie cherry pie fudge (my dad requests it every year) I know there is something else I just forgot.
  5. There is not any other material on the top. It is all made from the bags.
  6. That is what I am thinking. I would hate to have way too much fraying. Gathering this many bags again would take forever and way too much money.:D
  7. A quilt out of bags. Yes, I did cut up the bags. Reason why I ask about washing it the fabric is like flannel and well we all know flannel shrinks.
  8. :banghead: Well I goofed. I am making a crown royal bag quilt and up until 10 minutes ago I did not even think about washing these bags before using them. Duh right. Well here I am with all my bags cut, squares cut, everything ironed and stacked so nicely. :glare: So, my question for you is what should I do? (poll following) sorry about my sloppy poll this morning...having a bad morning already
  9. Yep. Snowing away here. We finally got hit with it this morning. My dad who lives 2 1/2 hrs away has been getting snow non stop since yesterday evening. It is sticking enough to make it white. Not accumulating too much yet. Very very wet snow and so cold. Positive not. I love to see snow capped mountains and they are beautiful today!
  10. http://www.herroom.com/search.aspx Here is 377 styles in the 32DDD and 151 in 30DDD. I really like this site and the selection. Also there are so many reviews from ladies on there, and with their sizes so you kind of get an idea of how it fits on such size.
  11. We no longer have a land line, but this last month has made me really want it back. We went a full day with no service due to a storm taking out towers. Sucked.
  12. Well I would say a nice size dictionary not the whole set of encyclopedias. lol:D Yeah I did the whole measure thing it stated I was a 44H????:001_huh: Then I read the fine print large bOOks need professional sizing help.
  13. No suggestions but I knew I had that wrong (my BooK spelling)....Now I have seen lots and lots at this site today.
  14. Well I did not really know how to word that one...:D ((gosh I hoped I used the right wtm hive wording on that)) Any favorite brands, styles, etc? I am in need of new shelving ;) and looking for quality shelving that will last longer than a month or two. Thank you for your help.
  15. Now did you end up getting any replacement water filters with it? Or do I have to find them else where? Our water is horribly hard and I think that is what finally did in my old machine.
  16. The Keurig is way out of my price range. I was looking at the KA, but reviews are mixed on it. Now that Cuisinart look a lot like the KA and has a lot of the same features for about $22.50 cheaper. I will give the Cuisinart a try, I think.
  17. Mine died a few days ago. I need a new one asap, I am using my camp one right now and well it is just not cutting it.:D It has been so long since I bought one that all the ones I have seen are super cheap or way pricey. I want one that will make a nice cup of coffee, not break the bank, and will last a bit.
  18. I know this is a bit more than you said, but it is a manufacture ref. one of the ipod nano 5th generation in pink. ETA, my boys have these ones and love them! I am not fond of the new version.
  19. I just bought this one and I am very impressed every time I vacuum of how much dust and yuck is in the vacuum and not in the air. My old one let dust fly like crazy, this one I have not noticed the problem at all. It has a pre-motor filter, post motor filter and a hepa filter. I love it! Also the fact that I do not have to wind up the cord, yes I know it is a simple task, but I HATE doing it.
  20. YES! By far way better. We have been making popcorn that way for years, then I got the this wonderful gadget and I will never go back to just a pan. Now I made some for dh while he was home and he said that it was by far the best popcorn he has ever had.:D Now I did order these to go with it and I love it! ETA, I have been mia for a week so just updating on a few old threads.
  21. Kel- thank you for posting about this wonderful wonderful item. My son and I LOVE it! We make our first batch shortly after it arrived. Yummy!
  22. Now from this site there is this... "What kind of identification do I need for my SD? Federal law does not require you to have identification for your SD. Though, you should be prepared to answer the following questions should you be asked by a gatekeeper of public access: Is that a Service Animal? Are you disabled? What disability-related tasks have your SD been trained to perform? If you decide to carry and use identification for your SD, then make sure that you inform gatekeepers that such identification, while provided in this instance, may not be required of other teams, as a condition of entry into a public space."
