  1. See I like science to be broke up into different areas throughout the year. For example a few weeks or lessons in Life, then Earth, then Chemistry, and so on. Now we love love R.E.A.L. Science Odyssey and do not want to change. So, has anyone bought all the levels (since there is only 3 at this time) split them up to spread all three over 3 years, but still doing some of each one yearly? If so how did you do it? Did you alternate lessons? Break it up so you do one for 12 weeks then switch off? Oh...for those of you who have used RSO and my not have mixed do you think this is possible? I know my son would love to learn more throughout the year besides just Life science.
  2. Dust storms are normal here. Since it is so dry here and the wind always blows that is just what we have to deal with.
  3. Mine is downloading, but super slow. So give it a minute or 30 for those that already checked out with it and try again.
  4. Mine is downloading, so I bet they are.
  5. I emailed them and let them know we are having problems. Maybe they are fixing it. ((wishful thinking ))
  6. Same problem here, but still I have it for free for later.

  8. All printed out. I did get the clock, measurement, and a few others to add in since he is a bit weak on those points. I am so excited to start tomorrow!
  9. You must know I am a sucker for some new cool stuff. Thanks for the links.
  10. Thank you all for your help. I did it and I bought MM just now. Printing it out as I type!
  11. I just noticed it was listed on the manipulatives for grade 2. I will hold off on it them. Thank you.
  12. Saxon is getting shelved here also. What is MIRL? I thought of maybe adding in a bit of living math to our schedule. That way he gets it a bit different and it won't seem so much.
  13. Do you use the abacus? Just trying to order everything I need.
  14. Those that use MM light blue series do you feel it is enough? Or do you supplement it with something else? I really think this is the one for us and the price is just right.
  15. Perfect. So when using the Light Blue series it is kind of like a spiral program then as where if you use the Blue it is mastery right? ETA: One more thing, those that use the Blue series how many books do you do each year? The reason I stay away from mastery is because I don't feel covering only one subject in math for a long period of time is best for my son.
  16. Now do some use the Light blue and Blue as a supplement to it? Or would that be overkill?
  17. What is the difference between the series? I noticed there is Golden, Light blue and Blue. Can you please explain the differences for me? Do you do more than one series at a time? Which one is the most common?
