Where would you rather live? And also have you ever lived somewhere else to make you feel this way about not wanting to live here? (Hope that made sense.)
really just proud to be an American. I was brought up to be proud of being Irish as well. I like to say I am Irish. Ultimately it has no bearing on who I am as a person. I guess it is interesting to me to know where some of my ancestors come from and what they went through to become Americans.
Dh and I have been talking about this, he prefers a deck I want a patio. A big one. With half walls surrounding it, with room for a table, chairs, sitting area, hot tub (down the line) grill etc.
What do you like?
My paternal grandparents were both full Irish. My maternal grandparents were Pennsylvania Dutch and German I believe. We of course were brought up to be Irish, my dad insisted that we were more Irsih then anything else.
Well unfortunately for me I have dark hair and my mom had me start in 2nd grade. IMHO I believe that is way to early. In fact after the first time my mom showed me I decided to do it by myself and used just a razor and water. Nothing else. Let me tell you it was painful.
A while ago on the old board someone gave a link for free math sheets for kids practice. Does anyone have that link by chance? I must have deleted it somewhere along the line.
TIA!
I absoultely would have hung up on him and then probably would not have talked to him again. Or if I did I would let him know that if he did it again he would have to wait until the next day to talk to me. Of course that is easier said then done and I don't know your situation.
((hugs)))
and I wouldn't send him either.
I personally don't think you need to come up with any excuse. I think it is perfectly ok to say that you just aren't comfortable with sending him.
I like everyones idea of coming up with someting special for that week so your ds doesn't feel left out and in turn you could use that as an excuse for not sending him.
I really feel for you. Fortunately most people that we hang out with would feel the same way I do about it so it wouldn't be an issue for us.
We used Poly (I think 2 coats) I don't think it looks like a bowling alley but then again I lived with horrible looking hardwood floors for so long I think any redone floor would look nice!
From what i understand about ethanol (corn based) it is only cost affective for consumers to buy if regular gas is over a certain amount. If regular gas goes under a certain amount the ethanol can't get any cheaper. It, ethanol, can't go any cheaper than the mid $2 range, where regular gas can techincally can fluxuate up and down quite a bit, ethanol can't go down very far at all.
I don't think that made sense at all! lol

We had a trundle bed for 4 years and our visiting family would use it then our children used it for 2 straight years and we never had a problem with it. We bought ours from a local mattress store.
