off to eat real sushi IN Japan -- today living abroad rocks!

We took today off of school because I have caught a spring cleaning bug. Next week is looking more and more like an early spring break!

My son ate 13 pancakes for breakfast and an entire pizza for dinner. he's 6 ft / 128 lbs. How??

We are schooling in our singlets and undies today!! We have had 30+°c days the last 3 days... *waaah*

And the rain that was supposed to transition to snow six hours ago is still rain. Boo hiss. We want snow!

I just sent my kids to bed after a long day of chores and school work and piano lessons. Since it is after 9pm (which is lights out) I told them they could not stay up and read tonight. Tears and protests started. "But I worked so hard today! I just want to read!!!" They did work hard. I gave in. My 6 year old is reading The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. My 8 year old is reading Robin Hood by Pyle (the old English version). I am so impressed with these kids!...
