  12. Good morning! Sleep is such a weird thing! Two nights ago, I was up for hours in the middle of the night, wide awake and unable to sleep, while my house was peaceful and quiet. Last night, Ds, who has a bad cold, woke me up at least 6x wanting medicine or just being his usual loud self while looking for more kleenex, getting a drink etc., but each time I could fall back asleep quickly into a good, deep sleep. Both my kids have bad colds so our Spring Break plans have changed. Today we are hanging out at home instead of going to the Rocket Center in Huntsville. Glad we are stocked up on movies and library books! Thankfully, our usual Tuesday extra curriculars are off today too, so kids aren't missing anything fun. For me today: Finish book shopping list ✅ Budget/bills Have kids call my mom Remind kids to practice piano Go book shopping at McKay's ✅ Target - ugh! ✅ Clean the other bathroom, that I didn't get to yesterday. Talk with DD about the NLE, which she needs to take this week. ✅ Possibly some AHG stuff in the evening? Dinner - not sure yet. something with some spice and zing for my kids who can't taste bland things right now. Tacos, maybe? Y'all who are praying people, please pray for my Dd to get well so that she can do her piano audition on Saturday. She has been preparing for months and this is her first foray into competition. She would be so, so sad to miss the opportunity. Need her yucky cough to go away!

  15. Lovely day! Spring-like here after crazy rain and flash floods yesterday. Sermon and music were particularly good at church. Lunch was fun - so nice to sit outside on the warm sun! Podcast, nap, reading, visiting with neighbors filled up the afternoon. May watch some Jeeves and Wooster with the kids tonight. Spring Break for us this coming week, and I hope to get some reading done.
  16. When I can, yes! Low carb keeps me from gaining weight and keeps my blood sugar in control. I am very limited in exercise bc of disc issues and diabetes runs in my family.
  17. Bulletproof coffee, fried eggs and bacon is my Sunday standard.
  18. Church and Ss class lunch at someone's home. Dd is sick and cannot go. Not sure if I will stay home with her or not. Read, listen to a podcast, take a walk, maybe watch a movie? Dinner is tbd.
  19. Need to put new batteries in my book light so I can read without the light waking anyone. Our house is small and my kids line their doors mostly open. I'm making lists in my mind for the coming week that I can put down on paper when I sit down with my coffee in a couple of hours.
