    In orange and purple, the snippets come from the books that are used for the book studies.

    For us, in orange and purple, the literature selections are used for spelling, copy work, grammar, etc. so it just wasn't worth it to omit the literature. It's built into the whole of the program.

    You won't need to pump and dump. Go to kellymom.com and LLL and find an lc that can give you good info. Most physicians know surprisingly little about breast feeding and even less about meds and breast feeding. Your little one is not at risk for respiratory depression at her age unless she has some major medical issues. I wouldn't even bring up nursing at all.

    I can't read the whole thread, but Its totally ok to push through. Make sure they use local in addition to any sedation.

    Thanks guys. She gets a lot of cramps and can't write more than a few sentences without needing to stop. I just corrected her from holding the pencil practically on the lead. She presses that first finger so hard she gets white knuckled.

    And this is based on judgements and perceptions, not first hand experience. I'm shocked you don't see the value in this environment. So much learning takes place whether scheduled or not.

    I think it's great she has so much recess! Most kids aren't so lucky. It's entirely developmentally appropriate.
