You need to find out how to either “force register” for a class or how the instructor for the next class handles adding students the first week of class. There might be different ways your kid’s college refers to these options but basically, you can do things like ask the instructor to override the limit of students or ask the instructor if you show up the first week of classes, can you be added to the class. bc sometimes students just don’t show up and instructors automatically drop them and if you don’t know that/aren’t in touch with the instructor, you’d miss an opportunity grad requirements should be in the college catalog and are often based on the year you enter the college. The best thing to do is get a copy of the catalog and/or find and print the grad requirements for the year you start.

If a student is writing a paper about a topic like “3D printing” , I can understand the issue of filling an entire paragraph with facts from one source, especially since you said the section on the history of 3D is the one with all the facts from one source. To me, it sounds more like a “report” vs a paper that has a thesis that needs to be proven. I think with a different type of paper, you wouldn’t run into this problem

How resilient vs fragile the kid is? What does this even mean? In one instance I know of, a girl called her parents a few weeks into 1st semester her freshman year and said come & get me. Dropped out, gave no explanation, left a full scholarship & team that she’d be heavily recruited to play for in a key role. she came home and got a job at a FF restaurant. She told people college wasn’t for her. a couple years later, she told her parents she had been raped a few days before she called them to come & get her. she was as tough as can be, not fragile at all. Nothing could keep her down.

It might have worked for you bc you have girls. AFAIK, boys seem to be much more prone to gaming addiction.

My hands LOL i use a brush on a long wand (I’m not sure of its proper name?) but the most useful thing I have is a pump dispenser for the dish soap. It is so easy to get an appropriate amount with it vs tilting and squeezing the container the dish soap comes in

@elegantlion Ive heard instructors say they’d rather have you over-cite, rather than under-cite. So cite if you are wondering “does this need it” then cite it… bc it is better to do that than risk (at worst) a plagiarism question what do you think?

Anything that is not common knowledge should be cited. as for writing in your own words…even that should be cited if it is an idea or theory or conclusion that he got from another source.
