  1. I did 30 minutes on the exercise bike, then a couple of pilates videos. I plan to do a relaxation based pilates later tonight.
  2. We're still wearing Breethy masks--silicone with a KN95 replaceable filter. https://www.stsofficial.com/products/reusable-silicone-kn95-mask We keep wearing these because they are comfortable enough for all day wear. They are the only masks we have with no glasses fog, and we tried a lot. I can't feel any air escape at all. I really like the close fit. I couldn't find any independent testing information for their KN95 filters unfortunately. For my mom, I'm putting an extra layer of Filti filter material inside on top of the KN95. I may do that with all of us in some indoor situations going forward. People are a lot less careful here now, with far less mask wearing The only design downside of these masks, imo, is that people with high nose bridges may find the interior cage hits the nose a bit when it's worn in certain positions. Easy to ignore in my opinion, but I wish they interior top part was just a touch bigger for those of us with high nose bridges. One of mine gets a lot of moisture build up when he's active in the mask. He has that problem with all masks he's tried. I love that I can put them in the dishwasher to clean. They are holding up really well.
  3. I hope you feel better tomorrow Katie--that sounds miserable. ((ktgork)) --- I did a boosted Walk at Home for cardio, pilates (back/core), and some weights work today.
  4. I did a little over 30 minutes on my exercise bike this morning. This afternoon I did a 23 minute HIIT pilates, then a stretch focused pilates. I plan to do a relaxation based movement of some sort tonight.
  5. I'm so sorry for your loss. I lost a BIL traumatically (not suicide--and I know that adds so much to the grief). Anger is part of grief. Even, if it happens at some point, anger at the person who died can be part of it for many. It was for me. I felt guilty about that at the time--but it was part of moving through the grief for me. All feelings are ok. People are really bad at knowing what to do with other's grief. If you decide you need your in laws to know you are hurt, I'd perhaps have your husband tell them, just to take the emotion out. I imagine they didn't know what to say or do and made the mistake of just avoiding. I'm sorry that hurt got piled on. I would not make decisions about relationships, contact (or anything big) right now. Therapy helped here. I'll pray for you as you grieve.
  6. Goodness it was hard to make myself do movement today for so many reasons. I did a boosted Walk at Home and then pilates tonight, even though I definitely didn't feel like it. I'm glad I did it.
  7. The ones on my bike were separate and not pre-attached. I don't have them on my bike. I imagine you could find out for sure that yours will be detachable (or unattached) before you buy the bike.
  8. I had to attach them to my bike when assembling--they were beyond easy to put on. FWIW, I've been exercising without straps for a long time after one of my teens busted mine.
  9. I did 45 minutes on my exercise bike (got interrupted, so did two sets) this morning, pilates (arms focus) early evening, and then some work with weights later in this evening.
  10. I did a boosted Walk at Home and then pilates (core and back focus). I will likely do a relaxation pilates later tonight.
  11. It's fantastic that you're still showing up to get movement when it's hard. --- I ended an exhausting day with a relaxation focused pilates before bed. I knew it was going to be hard today, but I really wanted to squeeze in other movement.
  12. I did a boosted Walk at Home, a couple of pilates routines, and some weights work.
  13. I did 30 minutes on my exercise bike and then a relaxation pilates with my son. I intended to do another pilates today, but the next video in my sequence is "energizing," and I don't need that this late. I almost went out of sequence, then decided I don't have the energy for any of it. So I'm skipping my pilates today. Tomorrow will be busy, I'll try to do two pilates tomorrow to make up if I can find time. I will likely do another round of relaxation movement before bed tonight.
  14. I did a boosted Walk at Home for cardio. About half way through, I started having perodic sharp pain in my lower back radiating down. Not sure what that was, but I decided to finish given it was so intermittent and no particular moves seemed to aggravate it. Afterward I did some PT exercises I was given for my lower back pain a long time ago. This pain felt a little different, but the exercises helped. So maybe it was that same old thing that pops up periodically. I then did pilates (back/core focus). I plan to do a relaxation focused movement tonight.
  15. I did 30 minutes on my exercise bike this morning, then abs based pilates and some weights work (arms/squats) just now. Night routine w/one of mine here is really stressful right now due to his anxiety. I think I sleep better when I work in relaxation based movement before I go to sleep. I plan to do a relaxation pilates I'm finding helpful before bed tonight.
  16. I'm so sorry. Prayers for you and your family.
  17. I did it all later than I wanted, but tonight I got a boosted Walk at Home and then pilates--a strength focused followed by a relaxation focused to close out--done.
  18. Yay for you! ---- I did 30 minutes on my exercise bike, a pilates session, some strength training, and about 2 miles walk with family (brrr...really too cold) today. I did relax session tonight. I may do another later.
  19. Twice my family (husband and sons) all had influenza, verified by testing, and I never felt sick either time. Both times I assumed I was an asymptomatic carrier*. Everyone except me gets viruses here in my home a lot. Asymptomatic infection is common with COVID, so that is surely happening when some people don't feel sick after exposure. But I, also, know people certainly exposed to COVID by family members who tested negative. I believe there can be some resistance due to inherent things--for example, I think I read that type O blood is possibly more resistant to COVID infection. * I just looked up, and influenza can definitely be asymptomatic. The thought is people may have had partial immunity. That makes sense for me. My first year of teaching public school I was constantly sick--really sick--all year long. I probably gained possible immunity to tons of things through that.
  20. I did 30 minutes on my exercise bike, pilates (back, upper body), and relaxation pilates today. I've got a bunch of things that have potential to get in the way of planned movement this week. I've let these kinds of things get me off track before. I'm going to try to stay consistent this week.
  21. I did the Walk at Home boosted walk, arm based pilates, and then a stretch based session. I plan to do a relaxation pilates before bed.
  22. I have seen miscarried babies listed in obituaries under the preceeded in death. In one of those cases there were no living children. In another, it was a still birth situation.
  23. I did 30 minutes on my exercise bike, back focused pilates and PT exercises, and some work with weights (arms and squats). I getting ready to do a stretch session. I plan to do a relaxation focused pilates before bed.
  24. I was getting nerve pain in my arms as a side sleeper. I have figured out how to used extra pillows to make sure I keep my arms from being being compressed at night (bent in my case).
  25. I got started way later than I hoped tonight. I did the Walk at Home boosted walk and then a relaxation based pilates.
