kfeusse
I made a huge batch of chicken salad for sandwiches on Sunday...and we have a lot of leftovers. Besides sandwiches, what can I do with it before it goes bad? The recipe was basically, chicken, celery, miracle whip, and relish. thank you very much! ktgrok
stuff a tomato with it? Or apple halves?
kiana
Thin it out into a sauce and serve it over rice. Make sandwiches and freeze them for stressful days. Top baked potatoes.
LinRTX
Mix it with a pasta noodle to make a chicken pasta salad. Then serve over fresh spinach?
kfeusse
can I really freeze it? I didn't think with the miracle whip I could freeze it.
ktgrok
oh, good idea to mix with chilled pasta! Also, served on it's own on top of salad is yummy. Or chop it up more in the food processor and serve with pita chips as a dip/spread
Prairie~Phlox
The celery will taste nasty frozen and thawed. I would turn it into a hot dish as mentioned.
zoobie
You lost me at Miracle Whip. ;) You can add curry powder, green apples and/or raisins You can add sour cream or cream of mushroom and bake it in crescent roll dough with cheddar or add rice or noodles and make a casserole with broccoli. I like adding a bit of curry powder to chicken-broccoli-rice-cream sauce-cheddar for an old fashioned chicken divan.
Emba
Along the theme of an earlier post: stuff avocado halves with it, serve on a bed of lettuce, something along those lines.
Emba
Also, do you have friends or relatives who are ill/at a busy season of their lives that might appreciate a meal that they don't have to fix? You could put some sandwiches together for them.

OH_Homeschooler
Maybe roll out some Pillsbury dough and make little chicken pockets? Similar to this: http://www.julieseatsandtreats.com/chicken-bacon-ranch-bubble-biscuits/
