I would be okay with that, though!

hjffkj
Interesting, I don't think mine have ever asked to eat out breakfast. I would be okay with that, though! I'm quite happy about it since we are celebrating her bday on mother's day and dunkin donuts won't be a crowded breakfast place. Also, I don't have to get guilted into celebrating mother's day by in laws

Jean in Newcastle
OK I'm going to waste time venting here. I was up from 4 am to 6:30 am with tummy problems (and yes, I washed my hands vigorously every time!) But I had to get up and take ds to work at 6:45. I did try to sleep from 7 ish to 9 ish but the cat kept yowling and I kept having to shush him. (Animals have way too much control in this house.) Now I'm tired. And Rusty has been testing every boundary. And it is now 11 and I'm going to have to go out to get ds in yesterday's clothes because I haven't had time to shower or get my fresh clothes from downstairs. And the kitchen is a mess and. . . . Oops. Ds just called. I'll try not to get on any "people of Walmart" type sites even though there are no Walmarts here.
SKL
I took a nap and then did some straightening in my room. It feels so good to be rid of that ugly black stacker. I also threw out a whole garbage bin full of old papers. You know, those papers you thought were so sentimental before you had so much crap. ;) It's only a start, as I still have a couple "to file" stacks, but it's moving in the right direction. I now have a small "to do" pile of bills to pay and stuff like that - some of it overdue - oh well. It got away from me when I was so busy and sick last week.
Susan in TN
Adjusting "clothes tub" goal to "put away 2 clothes tubs" Also adding "gift book inscriptions" because I need to get started on that. The kids no longer believe that I am getting endless packages of beeswax.
hjffkj
Well we won't be making it to the park but we've been in the backyard most of the afternoon so that's OK. Time to get kids ready for class, fed, and head out the door.
Jean in Newcastle
Got ds and even stopped at the butcher's before coming home. No one seemed to notice anything amiss with me so that's a good sign. I would still kill for a good shower and a change of clothes though as it is now 1:37 and I still haven't made it that far. I won't be free to shower and change until dh has left for work this afternoon. Instead I cleaned the kitchen. Did a.m. school with dd did various animal chores Made dh's dinner. Now I need to make his packed lunch.
mom31257
I totally forgot to buy ds a present while I was out today. Technically we are taking him out to eat and to see Avengers tomorrow night for his birthday, but I hate for him to have nothing to open. His birthday coming in the middle of graduation stuff is not good. The graduation shopping went well, though!

Liz CA
My Wednesday is tackled and thank God it's over. Got some good work done. Dying to know how you contained Rusty Houdini? :)
Jean in Newcastle
My Wednesday is tackled and thank God it's over. Got some good work done. Dying to know how you contained Rusty Houdini? :) LOL - he's under cage arrest unless he can be under direct supervision. In the midst of all this Houdini madness he accidentally met both the cat and the disabled dog. And they didn't eat him. The other dog is totally untrustworthy and fortunately did not meet him though he wants to very badly. So right now Rusty is in his x-pen in the living room with us. Libby the Disabled Wonder Dog is whining and sniffing him through the pen. The cat is disdainfully ignoring him. And Rocky the ADHD dog is banished to the outdoors where the neighbors will be accusing me of neglect. But it is the one way to give Rusty some exercise while keeping him safe.
