He hesitated following up because he does not have industry experience. He does, however, have a skill set, experience and education that matches the needs involved in the job. It turns out he'd like the job very much. It would get him back into a professional level, salaried position doing interesting work. He'd quit bus driving and we'd have income *and* benefits (something we don't have in combination with the bus driving - it only covers benefits.)
