Toska
Hey all, I am looking for some book recommendations for my 15yo dd. She has always been a reluctant reader, but lately has shown an interest in reading romance. I’d like to find some clean(ish) romance books for teens that I could recommend to her or have around. TIA!
Wishes
This series was popular in the 90s. Out of print but most are reasonably priced. They are historical and follow a formula “forward thinking girl with two suitors” but sweet and clean. https://www.thriftbooks.com/series/sunfire/39105/
marbel
At that age my daughter was reading Georgette Heyer's regency romances. Cotillion and The Grand Sophy are a lot of fun. (I should note that in Sophy there is an ugly ethnic stereotype. It's not a major part of the book at all, just one incident IIRC. At that age, my kid was able to recognize it for what it was, and move on in the book. I recall there being talk of removing it from any later editions but don't know if that was done. Just FYI.) MercyA
They take place in the 50's, but DD and I enjoyed Beverly Cleary's teen romances: https://slate.com/culture/2016/04/beverly-clearys-novels-about-teenage-girls-fifteen-the-luckiest-girl-jean-and-johnny-sister-of-the-bride.html
KungFuPanda
If she likes a supernatural Element, Kresley Cole wrote a young adult romance series called The Arcana Chronicles. It's well written and the storyline is really good.

chocolate-chip chooky
Stephanie Perkins writes Young Adult novels. Anna and the French Kiss is the first in a trilogy, I believe.
