mlktwins
…that an 87 year old man, who can barely get out of a chair or bed without help, could scoot to the end of the bed by himself, grab his walker to head to the bathroom, and fall 😔. He has side rails on his bed so this was a surprise to all. Nothing like that phone call at 11:30 pm on Christmas Eve. Do you want us to call EMT for a lift assist or can you come over to help get him off the floor (he is too heavy and unable to help for one person to do it). So…all 4 of us piled in the van and headed over. He ok except for a scraped up elbow. Wishing you all a Merry Christmas.

*****
That is so hard! But glad he had someone to call for you and he was lucky he didn't hurt himself. Blessings!
cintinative
oh no! Did he call for assistance to the bathroom and they took too long or did his dementia tell him he could do it? I hope there is no substantive injury.
