Innisfree
Aslan/Roland looks very satisfied with his lot, especially sitting on top of the cat tree. Patches looks happy to get some attention, too. They’re a very lucky pair of kitties, and I think they know it.

They snuggled for approximately 20 seconds before Inky smacked Aslan/Roland. The last picture is daorable.

Our new half-feral kitty hasn't reached that point yet but I can't wait.

Terabith
I had messaged the shelter about the tortoiseshell cat, Appaloosa, and offered to pay her adoption fee. I got a message today that she got adopted! She and another kitty are going home with a family with a little boy of about 9 or so! I am so relieved!

Halftime Hope
That tortoiseshell is gorgeous, and I'm not a cat person. Sigh. If I ever have a house without kitchen counters, I might be able to get a cat.

And I have had other cats in the past that did. But it's not a universal issue.

When our new kitty, who is slowly transitioning from wild outdoor kitty to an indoor kitty, got on the counter on his 2nd day all I did was look at him and say, not unkindly, "Excuse me, sir," and he jumped down and has not got on them again since.
