JudoMom
All of my boys love them. They sparked a huge interest in George Washington and the Revolutionary War. They know a lot about that time period and have done independent reading on the topics because of the series. Well worth the money.
Jen500
We are really enjoying these, just for entertainment in the evening. One of the few shows all of our family members will watch together.
Beth S
If you/your kids enjoy learning science from Magic School Bus . . . then your family will likely enjoy learning Early American History from Liberty's Kids. Many famous actors provide the voices (Walter Cronkite, Gov. Arnold, etc.). There is "modern" diversity inserted, which serves to (rightly) amplify the various viewpoints of the day. The creators do a good job of making the story seem filled with "action". You may be able to find some samples on Youtube or at your local library. These are a family favorite here. Jennifer in NH
my six year year old can now quote fairlt long speeches from Patrick henry and samuel Adams because of an interset in these shows. He lives and breathes the revolutionary war right now and he begs me daily to let him watch these. Favorites at the moment are Paul rever's ride and the Battle of Bunker Hill. I am a huge fan! Mostly because when i read to them now, they are so interseted because it is so familiar. I don't think I can say enough good about them. mamaof2andtwins
We used to watch the show when it was on PBS. My kids can still quote from it. I really liked the shows. I was excited when I learned about the DVD's especially for my younger ones who might not remember it. Jennie
