Ali in OR
My me-time is coming to a close. Had my Saturday mocha, did my beginner yoga. Caught up on posts here. For the rest of the day: get disabled dd up, medicated, dressed, in the stander, and fed iron fabric, cut masks, make masks for a family of 10! (student from school) make a few more masks for dh and dd who need to road trip to her college to clear out her dorm room. 3 days there and back. weekend chores: pick up house, vacuum, and clean bathrooms organize/clean food shelves in garage clean out kitchen freezer clean grease off kitchen cabinets/soffit around stove mop wood floors I've got all weekend for that list. And realistically, some of it won't get done but will live on the list a bit longer. Oh, and get some chili going in the crockpot too.

Since my kids are teens, I make them clean the bathrooms most of the time. It's hot now, so weeding got bumped to evening hours. One thing I've noticed about stay-at-home church is that we are less careful to not be busy or working Saturday evening. Sunday is such a chill day that I don't feel the need to protect it by having everything done before supper on Saturday. Especially when it is light outside so late.

SKL
Howdy! Happy weekend! Finally a weekend at home, our first since school ended. So yesterday I mentioned my kid wanted to cook chicken paprika. It was her first adventure making a meat dish from scratch (while I was working upstairs). She did a super job, but it was messy, LOL. I told her I don't mind cleaning after she cooks - I don't want to discourage her love for cooking. Between eating late, going for a walk, and watching a movie, I didn't get much of the cleaning done last night. So that was my first order of business today. Done: Kitchen cleaned. Some other miscellaneous cleaning and organizing. A little reading. Kids to horse riding & TKD. 4 loads of laundry washed, dried, folded, put away (last load is in the dryer). Cleaned out the gunk that accumulates in the washer. Walked 2.5 miles so far; planning to do more later. Online orders - Amazon, TKD stuff. Caught up on emails, calendar, news, social media. Gave the kids their list of to-do's. To do: Client work - lots of it. Fold & put away remaining laundry. Take kids to the park & walk some more. Yoga & TKD practice. Pay bills. Watch 2 church services with the girls. Make the girls practice their instruments & shower / wash hair. Some more cleaning, especially in my bedroom. Feed the bird. Whatever else gets done.
Selkie
Kind of a lazy Saturday here. Dh is hitting golf balls, ds21went up to a lake in Wisconsin with a friend, and the other two kids only just woke up a little while ago after sleeping really late. I spent a few hours working with my horses and giving them all a beauty/spa session. I got the front doors and porch sprayed off with the hose. It is looking more presentable now that the muddy paw prints have been washed away. Also sprayed the doormat off and hung it on the fence to dry. Just having a snack now (a bowl of cherries) and then I'm going to go deal with laundry.

Jean in Newcastle
The Chairman finally called me back. He still doesn't have what I want done, but he's working on it at least. Washed, dried and put away dishes, knives and pans. Wiped down counters, stove and microwave. Put some stuff in the living room in dd's old room for now. Walked Juliet and got my steps. I'm in a mild flare but I'm doing it.
