That's never happened before.  Maybe it's a Kroger policy?  Is this a new thing to prevent reselling, is it used to make some illegal drug, or what?

I’ve been carded at Target for something similar.

In NY I once had to jump through hoops to get cold medicine (Sudafed I think). I was miserable, I looked miserable, the poor pharmacist felt so bad for me making me sign all these forms and practically beg just for a tiny box of cold meds.

There are just so many things wrong with the way this country treats people like criminals at every turn. I’ve 47 and I still get carded for buying beer ffs.

No.  Just guaifenesin.  I guess it wasn't real Mucinex - it was a Kroger brand called Mucus Relief.

I have gotten carded for Children's Mucinex but not the adult Mucinex. I have no idea what is in the children's that is not in the adult's.

People drink it to get "high".
