Lousy day ahead--seizures and vertigo

Not me, and not the same person. Dh started a vertigo episode last night--he'll be nauseous, dizzy, and feeling crappy for the next 3 days. It's inner ear stuff and it happens once in awhile so we know the pattern. Then when I went to get disabled dd up she was in the midst of a seizure. She had 4 bad days last week too and usually we go weeks to months without seizure issues. But having one at the start of the day is not a good omen so I went for the Diastat right away. Meanwhile life goes on--laundry day, fundraiser for dd's soccer team, painting the bathroom...but all with nagging worry in the back of my mind.

Does your dh have benign positional periodic vertigo (BPPV?)  If so, so do I, and I've had some really good luck with some of the "throwing my head around" exercises when I feel an episode coming on.  I can give more info if that's what he's got and he hasn't already tried that.

Not that. When he first starting having these episodes 4-5 years ago, I had to drive him to his specialist in Portland during one of the episodes so he could see it. He could tell just looking at him that it wasn't that. He called it secondary Meniere's--secondary to hearing loss/damage that he already had.

There must be something in the air bc my DD has been having a lot more seizure activity than her baseline. It stinks for her. I feel like I'm constantly on edge wondering when the next one is  coming.

Yes, I'm always analyzing trying to figure out what changed. I've been suspecting sleep issues since I've heard her humming in the middle of the night or awake unusually early. And lack of sleep definitely brings on seizures. But then I also wonder about barometric pressure or full moons or whatever else my brain comes up with!
