SquirrellyMama
Not calling it a marinade because it won't sit in it more than an hour. Any good suggestions? I have italian dressing. That will be what I use if I can't find a better idea. What do you all love to grill chixken in? I've got cilantro and a lime. That would be good too. HomeAgain
We like cilantro, lime, soy sauce/ponzu sauce, ginger, and red chili pepper. Or cilantro, cumin, lime (or orange juice), garlic, onion.
mmasc
I like this one. https://rasamalaysia.com/cilantro-lime-chicken/ this is really good too. The tacos are yummy, but even just the chicken is really good. https://www.cookingclassy.com/grilled-chicken-tacos-cilantro-lime-ranch/
Jann in TX
Not a sauce-- but when I grill chicken (about once each week!) I just sprinkle Morton Season All on and call it good. It is also my go-to for grilled steak as well. If you like black pepper then try McCormick Montreal Steak seasoning-- I like this on chicken and fish too (they marked a blend for chicken-- but I prefer the one marketed for steak. Upennmama
We like maybe 1/2 c soy sauce, a splash of bourbon, a Tbs or so brown sugar, some garlic, minced onion, a little rice vinegar or other vinegar/acid (lemon/lime), and a little water. This covers a ton of chicken. Bourbon can be left out.
Junie
My dad used to mix up Good Seasons Zesty Italian salad dressing for his grilled chicken. It was one of my favorite foods growing up. Sadly, I can't eat it since going gluten free (one of the ingredients is soy sauce containing wheat), but I can still *almost* taste it if I think about it.
