Pink and Green Mom
Good morning! So my Whole30 Tiger Blood is kicking in big time and I'm going to try to take advantage of it by cleaning out the disaster zone known as the guest room closet (seriously, pieces of toys that haven't been touched in 5 years) and doing some general purging in the common areas. Or I'll get distracted by something stupid and sit on my butt all day.... DONE: -coffee -DS16 off to volunteer thing at 7:30 am -dog to groomer (poor thing looked like a homeless dog he was such a mess) -Publix (already realized I forgot at least 3 things) TO DO: -make marinade for shish kabob and cut up meat -repackage meat bought at Costco yesterday -make various spice mixes (Italian sausage, taco, chorizo, etc) -make whole30 compliant baked potato soup (I love it, but it dirties up so many pots and pans and blenders and food processor) -clean up kitchen -PURGE guest room closet -PURGE laundry room piles of donations, towels, things that don't belong there, etc -try to convince DS13 that no, he does not need 8 huge bins of Lego and it is time to let go -declutter kitchen -laundry DONE: 4 -read/relax -dinner (some sort of salmon and asaparagas) Edited January 21, 2018 by Pink and Green Mom

MysteryJen
Good morning! I slept in a little and am just now getting around to planning the day. I have to clean the bathrooms... The high school All-City meet is today-dd2 is excited and I am less than-horrible facility, terrible stands, too many parents and too, too loud. I will probably move in and out to watch her races-again I will take the bad high school parent swim crown. It will be nice to add to my collection- which includes bad college parent swim crown. Someone asked dd1, if she had a mother... To do: clean bathrooms general pickup a little laundry read dd2 to All-City All-City........ Home to collapse and mentally prepare for meet tomorrow Have a great day!

Alessandra
Act as chauffeur for kids, relax, minor home decluttering and fix ups. Yesterday, I made a trip to Goodwill, donated (among other things) *seven* cookie sheets I didn't need, since I have four at home. How did I end up with *eleven* cookie sheet, lol? On the way home, I stopped at Home Goods, went around the store without a cart or a basket. My hands were actually clutched around a small, rich red, heart-shaped pedestal cake plate with a beaded rim. It would be perfect for the coeur a la creme that I make for Valentine's Day. But I pried my hands away and left without buying it. So my goal today is not to think about a charming piece of china that I have no place to store, lol.

I didn't go to so many baseball games this past season because I cannot stand the other parents.
MomtoCandJ
Went to urgent care with what I thought was an ear infection. Nope just lots of pressure from a cold and that I have the ear tubes of a child. Grrr my right ear hurts so bad, was told to take Sudafed and it has to be the kind that the pharmacy holds behind the counter. I took some a few hours ago and no change in the pain. Going to get a hot compress here in a bit and going to go in my room to work on school stuff and watch the new Blue Planet II on BBC America.
