Porridge
The cost goes from $19.95/month to $9.95/month if you have a group of 25 or more. I subscribed this past month and am more than halfway through the Level 1 Teaching the Great Books course. I have loved it. This particular course is targeted to classroom teachers, but I am still getting a lot out of it. If 25+ are interested, we can try for the group rate. Targhee
I'm intrigued. Is the 25+ rate for a yearly commitment or can you cancel your personal subscription whenever you feel like it?

I just pinged them to clarify. The website makes it sound like individuals can cancel at will. I'll update when I get a reply.

Porridge
Okay, here is their reply. Please let me know if you're still interested. It sounds like we need 10 + for the group rate. ----- Thanks for reaching out to us. Our web development team is working toward functionality that will allow the group admin (whoever purchases the subscriptions for the group) to add/drop/exchange members at anytime. However, since this is not in place yet, we have to handle these manually. If you register a group and one of the members would like to drop, please let me know and we can take care of that for you. Note that if your group shrinks down into another price brakcet, the price per subscription will be affected. For example, if you had a group of 12 and 3 decided to cancel, this would bring your group down to 9 users, and the group would lose the 10-24 user rate of 14.95. That could be tricky as people may want different lengths of subscription. I for one do not know how long I would use a subscription, but I would neither want to feel locked into a subscription nor cause anyone else to lose their discount. Any idea how to make this work? Agree. I haven't thought of any great ideas. The only thoughts I had were options A and B -- A: people go in knowing that others may drop out and their subscription rate may go up to $19.95/mo. Basically, we each accept the risk. B: All parties commit to a minimum subscription period of x months. The only thing is, there is no good way to enforce this and I don't know that any of us want to play policeman :) Perhaps others will have ideas? CadenceSophia
If you have a group of sufficient size, and you only accept people who probably want x months, then you could assume you will stay over the group price for those x months -- 3? Maybe 6? .. And if you are the group organizer, you could post back here if the group looks like it might loose the discount rate and see if new people want to join in? It would take a little more management on your part though. I might be interested if we are shooting for 3 month commitments.

It would be bad if I missed something and you guys got stuck with a higher bill. (It's autobill)
