Word Nerd
Today is the 20th anniversary of the debut of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. For a magical surprise, type "Harry Potter" or any of the Hogwarts house names into a Facebook post or comment, post it, then click on the name. https://www.facebook.com/pottermore/posts/1597462643621427

Tanaqui
That can't be right. That'd mean it's been 20 years since the 8th grade.

nixpix5
Now I feel old! I remember going to every release party and sitting in the long line outside Barnes and Noble in our Wizarding gear waiting to go in. We would then rush back home with the book and sit around reading it outloud; barely being able to break for the night. So excited I get to relive all of these books with my three youngest like I did my two oldest (although no release parties...bummer). (they're 1/2" difference.) it's a fun memory. we're meeting up with 2dd and dsil, , . . . but 1ds isn't coming. he wants to work and earn money before fall quarter starts. Jann in TX
Youngest dd and I had an AWESOME day (3 weeks ago) at the Harry Potter Studios in the UK (where they filmed the movies!). I'm not sure who had more fun! Edited June 27, 2017 by Jann in TX
