Meriwether
Dd has asked to take a psychology class. I'm happy to make it happen for next year, but I don't which programs to consider. I would prefer something she can do independently/with me, but I'm open to online classes, too.
sltress
I have not used this but am considering it for my son. It can be found on cbd.com or homeschoolpsych.com. SunshineMom
I am putting together a psychology class for my dd next year using AP materials (syllabus & books). I can share my schedule with you if you like. Not sure I will go thru the AP process/approval yet.

MerryAtHope
I have not used this but am considering it for my son. It can be found on cbd.com or homeschoolpsych.com. Homeschool Psych: Preparing Christian Homeschool Students for Psych 101 We used another book by Tim Rice (I heard that the content was the same as the one you mentioned but the formatting was different--we used Psychology, A Christian Perspective), and it was a good intro to Psychology, and easy to complete in a semester (which is what dd and I wanted). Sonlight has a year-long course that can end with taking the AP test for Psychology--that could be considered by someone wanting a more in-depth course. Mike in SA
The MIT OCW was perfect. The book is inexpensive, the study materials can be found online, and the professor was top notch. DS did it in 7th, so it does not pose an inappropriate challenge.

lauranc
Youngest is taking AP Psych through PA Homeschoolers with Bonnie Gonzalez http://www.aphomeschoolers.com/cgi-bin/choose.pl?class=psych Been an interesting year so far. Ms. Gonzalez has a keen enthusiasm for the subject, and assigns papers/projects/assignments that are worthwhile and (I feel) somewhat unique. She has a relaxed attitude and encourages mastery. I can recommend!
Loesje22000
We are considering this: https://www.amazon.com/Cambridge-International-Level-Psychology-Coursebook/dp/1316605698/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1483032117&sr=1-1&keywords=a+level+psychology
Meriwether
Yep, that's the one. It looks like the textbook is free online, so the price for this course would definitely be right.
Hilltopmom
Holt has an intro the psych book we plan to use next year. This year, dd is watching The great courses mysteries of human behavior & reading some non fiction Psych books (Everything you need to know about Psychology and one from DK publishing). Of course, you'll still want to get the AP study guide, and the test itself costs a little. DS highly recommends it. He still remembers a crazy amount of detail from it.

Bear2300
My high school Jr. is taking college level classes via Bluefield College. The classes are $130 each which fits our current price range. I will be calling next week to confirm her classes which will include Intro to Psychology.
