morningcoffee
I want to browse through middle and high school curriculum that utilizes lecture style instruction on dvd like Math U See. We don't find the type of instruction that uses a blackboard and voice over that effective (eg. khan academy, dive science). I don't know of that many but so far I have thought of .... Essentials in Writing Saxon Math with Art Reed BJU Abeka Any others?

Hunter
Annenberg videos are free for the streaming and you can buy the DVDs. Some are getting a bit dated, but some are really really good. https://www.learner.org/resources/browse.html The Western Tradition has been popular since before Y2K. My library had it on video tape. https://www.learner.org/resources/series58.html

merylvdm
Thinkwell has a number of different ones. My kids used their Pre Calc, Calc, Economics and Government and enjoyed them all. I know they also have others including some science.
MarkT
Thinkwell has a number of different ones. My kids used their Pre Calc, Calc, Economics and Government and enjoyed them all. I know they also have others including some science. I believe Thinkwell has moved to a streaming format - you may still be able to purchase some used courses on CD-ROM or DVD format from eBay etc. Update some Thinkwell courses still have the CD set available for purchase.
