I also need support in case I get stuck teaching harder concepts so I'm looking for DVD or online videos that go with the book or at least line up with the sequence. I have been thinking about Chalkdust, but videos are long AND it is SO expensive!! Any other thoughts? I found videos for Jorgenson(?) But i dont know much about it. Is it a hard book? Jane Elliot Posted May 7, 2016 Share Posted May 7, 2016 We've used Derek Owens's lectures. As soon as a dc gets stuck, I e-mail him and ask for just the video option to go with Jacobs geometry. My husband was a math major in college and has been so impressed with my kids work. Pistachio mom Posted June 5, 2016 Share Posted June 5, 2016 The ask dr. Callahan website offers teaching lectures to go along with high school textbooks. I think he uses the Jacob's Geometry. We are planning to use BJ Press geometry this next year. Maria, at the mathmammoth.com website has a resource section that includes her recommendations to high school curriculum and a big list of free video websources for teaching.
