purpleowl
My two-year-old DS was in the kitchen when we heard this: "A cookie? A cookie? A cookie? A. Cook. EEEEEE?" *Pause. Realization that Mommy and Daddy are not giving him a cookie.* "Okay, Google! A cookie?"
Jean in Newcastle
Has he now lost his faith in the almighty Google?
purpleowl
Actually, DH went in and gave him a cookie not long after that, so he might think it works!

Ravin
That's hilarious. My DS very quickly got the hang of telling Alexa to put things on the shopping list.

purpleowl
Have you seen the Cookie Monster IPhone ad? https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=CCbWyYr82BM No, I hadn't! That's great, lol! We are Android folks around here though, obviously. ;)
Catalytic
That's hilarious. My DS very quickly got the hang of telling Alexa to put things on the shopping list. Haha, mine, too. He's also figured out how to cheat with her. I went to the bathroom, had told him to write the words one through five. Came back and he was done...little stinker had asked Alexa how to spell them all...
Dmmetler
I've told my DD that she isn't allowed to ask Siri school questions :).
Catalytic
I've told my DD that she isn't allowed to ask Siri school questions :). I can't do that...then I'd have to answer their questions  We may not have card catalogs and tons of encyclopedias anymore, but we have Google! My standard response to anything I think they should look up and read about for themselves is "Go talk to Google"...they try to talk to Alexa, but while she is fun, she's not quite as good as Siri, and nowhere near as good as Google. (Hmmmm, I wonder if I can change her default search engine to Google from Bing...)
SKL
My kids love to annoy SIri. They think it is hilarious. :P She does have the patience of a saint.
