raindrops
I had this procedure 6 days ago, and I am exhausted. Has anyone else had this? How long until the fatigue subsides?
Minerva
No experience with this, but sending hugs your way. I hope you feel better soon.
Pippen
Not with me. Has your doctor been watching your iron levels closely?
raindrops
Thanks for the hugs. I'm anemic, but the surgery took a lot more energy out of me.
Seasider
It took me a couple of weeks to get back up to full speed after my Novasure ablation, and the major side effect for me was also exhaustion. It is normal. Bothersome, but normal.
raindrops
Thanks Seasider. That's helpful to know.
Seasider
Thanks Seasider. That's helpful to know. I was truly surprised at how tired I felt. I did not expect it. Of course, if you don't feel a little better each day, call your doc.

kewb
I don't recall being particulary exhausted after the procedure. I do remember not feeling like I could just go resume my daily activities for about a week. It was the best thing I ever did for myself.
jenn-
I don't really remember being exhausted with it. Are you on pain meds that could be making you sleepy? Edited February 15, 2016 by jenn-
ThisIsTheDay
I had a Novasure ablation about 8 years ago. I remember thinking that I would be up and good to go the next day, but it took me a few weeks to fully feel back to myself. Yes, I was exhausted for a week following, and I remember still walking gingerly--not because I had any pain, but because I was.so.tired. The other side effect that no one really emphasized is that I had a clear discharge for at least a month following, requiring me to wear at least a minipad. It wasn't a big deal, but I was surprised that no one had actually told me that would be the case. On the way more positive side, it gave me my whole life back, and I have never, ever regretted it for even a millisecond. I hope you're up and about soon--in the meantime, rest up and continue to take care of yourself!
