Bluegoat
I think I am going to be making an order with SCM for at least one or two items. I was wondering if there are any things they sell that people particularly love - it may be to my advantage to order more things together.
Mrs. A
I really found the all day seminar helpful and the planning your Charlotte Mason education book has been great too. I just bought a copy of Spelling Wisdom and I think its going to be great for us, but I can't say for sure on that because we haven't actually started it yet.
mamamindy
If your kids are early elementary, mine really loved Outdoor Secrets and the Outdoor Secret Companion. :)
LivingHope
I generally buy everything from SCM in pdf because the prices are great. However, I made an order several months ago for six art portfolios, the "When More is Less" 2015 calendar, and the Learning and Living DVD set. I love SCM Art Portfolios (each includes 9 high quality art prints and artist biography).
kateingr
I also love the art portfolios. "Stories of America" is a wonderful history book.
TheAttachedMama
Their nature study curriculum is wonderful. (ALL of them.) (Outdoor secrets was already mentioned above, but all of their nature study books are great.) I also really like Spelling Wisdom. It is such a wonderful source for dictation.
Another Lynn
I haven't used it yet, but I'm thinking their new (?) Shakespeare resources look really helpful. (They include a retelling like Lamb's or Nesbit's, the actual script, a CD audio recording, and a list of video recordings/movies with info about their child appropriateness.)

Rebecca
Yes! Spelling Wisdom, Picture Study Portfolio, Hymn Study Resource, Shakespeare sets ( love these!). I also like their Composer study material- but I have not used any yet.
TKDmom
I love the handicraft DVDs. I'm terrible at doing crafts, but these are actually useful and easy! Maybe I shouldn't admit this, but one day I had to run to the store just as we were going to start a handicraft. I popped in the paper-crafting DVD, told my boys to watch it, and if they understood it they could work on it. I wasn't really expecting them to do anything, but when I walked in the door, I had two very happy boys showing off how they had made their own envelopes out of scrapbook paper. :D
Bluegoat
Thanks all! I am probably going to get an art portfolio and also one of the the Shakespeare books, and I am thinking about the nature study things.

kateingr
Ooh, you all are tempting me. I might need to add their nature study resources and handicraft DVDs to the plan for next year.
Ethel Mertz
Definitely the art portfolios! We absolutely love them. We are also using Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream (along with How to Teach Your Children Shakespeare). It's one of the best things we've done this year.
arliemaria
We are using the Laying Down the Rails and the companion books Laying Down the Rails for Children to try and instill good habits.
