JustEm
We're going to be in the car for 15 hours next Monday. I need audiobok suggestions for my kids and nephew ages 9, 6, 5, and 2. My kids love the Bruce Coville Shakespeare plays but we havent listened to anything else recently. I need a long list of suggestions in case the library doesn't have them available by Saturday. JustEm
Thank you both. I was thinking the narnia radio theater but we are reading through dawn treader now and dh is enjoying it with the kids. Since he's not coming on the trip I'll probably skip that. whitestavern
I always suggest the Tomie dePaola autobiography, 26 Fairmount Avenue, because our entire family enjoyed them, not just the kids. But the kids really enjoyed them!

TheDairyQueen
Harry Potter audiobooks have always served us well. Might not be the best for the littlest one-- but not sure what will. When my son was 3, he listened along to Harriet the Spy on a very long car trip...so you never know.
JustEm
I'm not worried about the 2 year old. I've got music he'll enjoy and he's used to audibooks so he won't be bored that they're on. He'll just do something else. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Ali in OR
Definitely Hank the Cowdog should be part of the mix. Even dh and I chuckled at these. And it's just fine for the younger ages.
