songsparrow
Hi to all the other swim moms out there! I was wondering what type of stuff your kids pack to pass the time at meets? I'd particularly like ideas that can be social and shared with other kids. I know, for example, that last year it was very popular to bring the Rainbow Loom kits and make bracelets. Thanks! Guest
Girls or boys? My son and all his friends brought those little handheld game toys when they were young. It was so funny because I thought it was so anti-social...but what ended up happening is that they all watched each other play a game and challenged each other. I was not a video-game fan, but it was what worked.

kewb
Sometimes one of mine brings a deck of cards but mostly they talk with their friends, snack, and drink water in between their swims.

blondeviolin
Uno and BopIt. Because he's seven, he also brings little action figures. My other kids go to nearly every meet and they have a box of Legos dedicated for swim meets.
