Pink and Green Mom
:ack2: So the dog just "expressed" his glands while sitting on my microfiber/suede-type couch. Anyone know how to clean up that mess? :ack2:
sunnyday
 In the vet clinic, they usually "cut" that smell with rubbing alcohol. I'd start there, then a thorough upholstery cleaning. I'm so sorry! :ack2:
rmtzc2009
Oh no!!! I can't even imagine! Sorry no advice to offer but I hope you find something to clean it well!
MiMi 4under3
I use baby wipes to get those dog "stains" out on my microsuede.
Pawz4me
Nature's Miracle or a similar enzyme-based cleaner. You'll have to wet the area thoroughly (is that okay with microfiber?) and let it air dry as slowly as possible to give the enzymes a chance to work. So keep sunlight off of it and don't turn on any fans. You may need to repeat the process.
Lara in Colo
I use vinegar
Critterfixer
I have had some success against that odor with Anti-Icky-Poo.
In2why
Baking soda and alcohol. Use a light colored cloth and it should come right out. B

Pink and Green Mom
Off to try some of these....it isn't as bad as I thought it would be. It looks like a water stain and the smell has really dissipated much more than imagined. Off to buy some Nature's Miracle and see if I can find that Anti Icky Poo (as well as ask a neighbor for a diaper wipe...) Poor dog was up on the couch all day because he was petrified of a thunderstorm we had. He had finally had an hour or so of peace and quiet before BOOM fireworks at a local minor league baseball game. That is when he "lost it" (literally, figuratively, etc.) But :ack2: nonetheless Thanks again - knew I could count on the Hive!
