Good for you for getting it over with!  You'll be fine.  If you think it will help, you could practice scenarios in your head before you actually talk to them.  Don't expect miracles but be prepared to be surprised--you never know what people are going to do.  :)

I listen to music that totally jazzes me up. Usually songs where women are getting some kind of revenge or have a "I don't have to take it" attitude in the song.

 

I also walk for 45-minutes to dispel anxiety.

 

Once I played a game where I told myself that if I could keep my cool w/ so-and-so I'd get a new dress afterwards. It worked.

It went well. I went into it having no expectations of cooperation and I got some, so it ended up feeling like a win. I did drink a 32 oz diet coke at 7pm which turned out to be a mistake. Between that and the after conflict adrenaline rush I tossed and turned til 230 am and have been up since. But, it's over.

I'll nap this afternoon.
