Pam "SFSOM" in TN
I get to be a rural student nurse educator (diabetes) this fall! Way cool. This is for my "Community Nursing II" credit. Instead of doing some artificial goofy project, I get to be in a class of ten where we actually go out every other week with psychology, medical, social work, and public health students and work in outlying communities. This is so cool. I'll be doing my senior practicum at the medical center on the women's health floor, so I'll be able to sample OR, high-risk OB, newborn nursery, postpartum, and surgical recovery. We'll see if I like it. :D I wasn't looking forward to community class at ALL, because I think it's too artificial and kinda silly. But this is officially Very Cool. Just had to share my good news. Nakia
That sounds wonderful!! When I was in nursing school, I loved following the diabetes nurse educator in clinical. I have worked in women's health for 7 years. That is where my heart is (well, of course, besides my family). Have fun!!

Kelli in TN
Take a bow!! Hear the thundering applause!!! And in the back row (because this Pam-fan has personal space issues and always likes the back row best) hear the faint sound of someone saying "Go Pa-am! Go Pa-am!"
