Jean in Newcastle
Probably very late posting for most of you. I'm not really tackling anything at the moment - other than trying to keep one foot in front of the other.

Jean in Newcastle
Dd - did workbook school which I guess is better than nothing. Ds - robotics and history/Lit. Me - nothing. Take ds to the chiropractor soon. I'm going to ask if he can help me too. Don't know if it is worth the risk of even more pain though. KrissiK
Jean, you're here! I'm so glad to see you! And I am also glad to see the other regulars on this thread. I always am. Take it easy today! Well, finally got school done. I finally decided to come down hard on ds1's messy writing. It's been rough. Very rough. He basically had to redo every bit of written work he's done today. And he hates me. Oh well! Not much more on the docket. ** finish cleaning kitchen ** wipe down filthy door frames ** do a load of laundry ** kids have Awana tonight
mom31257
Headed out to church. Tonight is Great Affliction Night in Awana, so we are "bandaged", "bruised", and "limping" out. All the kids and leaders who are any fun come dressed as if they are injured.
Jean in Newcastle
Dd helped me to clean the kitchen. Dh helped to tidy the living room. I just might have had a little fit when dh made noises like he was going to reorganize my living room. . . Ds is working on Alg. 2 Talked to my neighbor who called. Ok . . . need to rally the troops to come and help me to get socks and shoes on.

Jean in Newcastle
Two and a half hours later. . . Ds's chiropractic done. My chiropractic, which included infrared and a more complicated and gentle adjustment than normal and being taped up, done. Ran to the pharmacy for walkie-talkies that the kids insist we need so that I can let them know when I need them to help me out. Ran to the grocery store for groceries. Dh is making dinner. KRG
Did the chiro help?
Jean in Newcastle
Did the chiro help? I think so? The taping certainly helped. He tested my reflexes and said that my nerves are hypersensitive right now and are firing off too much. He agreed with the PT who had told me that my muscles were going from 0 to 100 and nothing in between.

swellmomma
work is done, it appears we did really well, now to wait and see if we got it after the board reviews the assessors report. Glad to be home again. Dinner is simmering, just checking in with my fb groups and here while it does so, after dinner time to tackle the livingroom some more. Got a phone call at work today from ds10 asking how to turn on the washing machine, he saw I had lots to do and decided to help me out. That boy can be such a pita but he is so sweet at the same time.
MysteryJen
Back home. Dh's choir was cancelled, so we are having a rare evening at home. Ds1, dh and I are going to watch a movie, the rest of the crew is going to go to bed. I ran some errands and did a few chores, so today was not a total loss. Have a great night everyone!
