Gluten Free Shampoo?

I'm having ugly reaction to the shampoo I've been using & it boldly states Wheat Protein on the back. Bummer. I love the stuff but it hates me. I swim in a chlorinated pool a couple of times a week & I found that that natural thing {bi-carb & vinegar} wasn't working to keep the excess chlorine from drying out my hair.

I'm struggling to find something that doesn't have ugly reviews on it. What we've been using is a rather natural shampoo & has all of 7 ingredients, one of which was water, & 2 of which were essential oils that made it smell lovely & pepperminty. I've considered Aubry Organics Gluten Free Swim Shampoo, but there's some yuck-reviews so I'm hesitant. I'm going to have order whatever I pick via overseas due to my location, so I don't want to pick something that's ugh, kwim?

Anyone use something they can recommend that's consistently good all the time? I have naturally wavy hair that I generally keep cropped to shoulder length. It's generally thick all though I've been suffering with hair loss issues of late I thought were linked to my thyroid problems, but could be linked to the wheat in my shampoo..

Suggestions?!

This is sulfate and gluten free - I'm sure there are more choices

ETA I like a lavender shampoo & conditioner from Earthfare - it is sulfate free, but I'm not sure if it is gluten free. If you have an Eathfare or Whole Foods (or something similar) I would start there :)

IIRC, the Shea Moisture shampoos are gluten-free - it will say right on the bottle (best prices usually at Target or Walgreens rather than amazon); all-natural, sulfate-free, etc.

I alternate between the top two as I need some protein but not all the time.  There's also a new one at Target with Keratin, good for straightening hair, it says (bright green label).

I only use baking soda & AC vinegar normally, but I found when in the chlorinated water I needed more as my hair was drying out. So we've been using a swim brand called BoofHeads which is lovely, I couldn't use it daily or it greased up my hair which was fine as I was happy to use my normal bi-carb & AC vinegar combo normally.

I do wear a swim cap in the pool. I found that washing before entering in the pool, leaving conditioner in my hair with the swim cap on kept it all down a bit. Then when I came out I mixed 1 tsp of vitamin c powder with a couple of cups of hot water & sprayed it on myself before showering. I'd use the swim shampoo/conditioner then & be fine. So I want something that will hydrate my hair after swimming! :)

I did notice that some of the Al'chemy were gluten free so I was going to see if I could find them as I saw a few places within Australia that had them in stock. I noticed 2 other swim shampoos I could get from iherb.com which will ship here quickly & inexpensively. It was an Aubrey's & Dessert Essence brands. They both looked really good but had reviews that bugged me considering I'd be shipping them in, all though I COULD get tiny bottles to test them out.

I also spotted that Everday Shea & did consider it as it seemed like it would be really hydrating. I wasn't sure about the Shea Butter/ Coconut soap though.. hmm.. I wish they had trial sized bottles of all this stuff. Truthfully my hair is use to natural shampoo so the negative reviews that complained of leaving hair greasy might not be an issue for myself, especially since I'm not using it everyday.. But that's what I'm most worried about it is that it won't do anything other then leave my hair a yucky mess.
