Can I just decide we're done until after Christmas?

DD's cheer coach has called 4 extra practices for the next 2 weeks, leading up to a competition. Each one means a fairly late night for DD (not so much because of practice, but because she's stressed and needs time to recover before she can sleep), with a total of 3 nights a week. We're out of town this week for Thanksgiving, and the internet service is spotty-she really can't get online to do her online class work, so she's have the last three weeks to finish over two weeks. And we have two parties, a kid's craft swap, and a parade, and a piano performance in there-all before Christmas.

It's a mess. Can I just say we're done with everything else, and call it good?

Yes.

We often had schedules similar to yours between Thanksgiving and Christmas, so I just finally made it one long break. We took off until about the middle of January.
