Dmmetler
DD's cheer coach has called 4 extra practices for the next 2 weeks, leading up to a competition. Each one means a fairly late night for DD (not so much because of practice, but because she's stressed and needs time to recover before she can sleep), with a total of 3 nights a week. We're out of town this week for Thanksgiving, and the internet service is spotty-she really can't get online to do her online class work, so she's have the last three weeks to finish over two weeks. And we have two parties, a kid's craft swap, and a parade, and a piano performance in there-all before Christmas. It's a mess. Can I just say we're done with everything else, and call it good? KRG
We took all of December off last year and it was an excellent decision! I wish we could do it this year.

inmyopinion
Yes, yes you can. We had three weeks of very busy evenings so we spent the days watching documentaries, reading, field trips and volunteer service. It is all good!

We often had schedules similar to yours between Thanksgiving and Christmas, so I just finally made it one long break. We took off until about the middle of January.
