NotSoObvious
I hope this hasn't been shared already. A friend just posted this Breaking Bad preview and I thought it was ironic since my girls are memorizing the poem for FLL 4 this week! KellieK
I accidentally found this a few weeks a go when my daughter started to memorize it, it made us keep going with it. We were ready to scrap it and do another poem. I could not get the timing right, but this rendition was awesome.
TheApprentice
We, too are having a hard time memorizing this poem and were going to scrap it. But now we may revisit it. Thanks for sharing.
GailV
Wow, that's great! I can't wait to share it with dd. She did FLL4 a few years ago, and Ozymandias was a tough one, although not the hardest in the book for her. She mentioned it (Ozymandias) a few weeks ago, how she's now rather fond of the poem. By the way, I think she looks back on memorizing all those poems with pride now. Also, she can now memorize poetry and scripts faster than anyone I know, which theater directors absolutely love. The fast memorization gives her more time to work on actual acting. All-in-all, I think struggling and working with FFL4 poetry was a great experience. We're seeing a payoff years later. ThatHomeschoolDad
FLL wasa few years ago, but DD and I still recite Ozy every now and then with very overly dramatic gestures (well, at least Ido).
tex-bex
Wow, cool! We just started this one, and I'm having trouble reading it with fluidity, and had been thinking of looking on YouTube. This is better than what I could have hoped to find!!!! DS will think this is awesome, even though he doesn't get to watch BB. He knows we loved it! Stellalarella
I"m reposting this because it's about the time of year when folks are meeting up with Ozymandias in FLL4. :)
TinaBlue
Thank you! We just read it this week!
lulubelle
We watched it a few months back for my second ds and it really helped. I realized a year ago that finding a you tube version of poetry, other than just me, really helped.
